  1. Travis won't be available for the start of the season that would mean Pompey, Tulo, Goins, or even Saunders if he is healthy enough would be the new leadoff hitter. I'm thinking it will be either Pompey or Tulo for at least the start of the season. Revere was great hitting leadoff but having a great leadoff hitter was the least of the Jays' problems before this trade. They needed to improve their bullpen more than they needed a great leadoff hitter. With Revere the Jays would have been able to add another run or so every other game but when you're leading by 3 or 4 runs after 7 innings and end up losing a few of them because your bullpen doesn't have enough elite arms then I'd rather lead by 2 or 3 runs after 7 innings and end up winning all of them because my relief pitchers could hold the lead. Storen, Sanchez, Osuna, Cecil is a pretty intimidating combo which is what the Jays have been looking for and didn't have last season. Sanchez, Osuna, Cecil were great but they really needed one more arm they could go to to shut down the other team when they needed it and they didn't have that. Lowe was supposed to be that guy but he was inconsistent. Not sure if Storen will be the closer but he is a huge improvement over Lowe. With Storen the bullpen goes from being okay to excellent.
  2. Brenden Perlini would be the BPA and would be the power forward we haven't had in a long time.
