i liked snoke dying like that, i thought it was great. Kylo Ren needs to change his title to Emperor now though, instead of that stupid supreme leader one

my biggest complaint with the new star wars trilogy so far though is the lack of scale. They dont seem to understand how big a galaxy is. In TFA they dont seem to understand that the republic is somewhere around 10k star systems so even blowing up what? 10 planets? wouldnt cripple or even significantly impact it. And im just gonna skip right over the speed of light issue of the superlaser hitting those planets (which for some reason seem to all be in the same star system?). This continues in TLJ where the resistance has exactly 1 base and 400ish people, 3 ships and a handful of fighters. How exactly is the resistance even a threat with so few people and equipment. They have exactly 1 warship, they wont be resisting much of anything without some serious reinforcements. And only have fuel (fuel?!?) for 2 hyperspace jumps? Is there a space oil shortage or something? They should have also immediately drained the fuel from the 2 smaller ships to give the mon cal cruiser more time also. Anyways enough about that stuff, thats my personal pet peeve of the new star wars movies.

As to the suicide hyperspace jump, That was actually pretty lucky. Unless its been retconned when a ship jumps to light speed it has to accelerate to almost the speed of light before entering hyperspace. Now when an object moving at those speeds hits something, A very large amount of energy is released. Depending on how close to lightspeed the ship was at when it hit the first ship it could have potentially completely destroyed that dreadnought and the surrounding ships in one blast. Because it did so little damage im assuming that the mon cal cruiser did not get anywhere near lightspeed before impact. And the only reason any of those destroyers died was because they were hanging out way too close to each other (because the general guy isnt that smart and overly agressive, which seems to be the way the first order likes them). If they were properly spaced out at worst they would have taken just glancing hits from debris.
