  1. Can mods not close the Trump thread because of a 'bad word' in a shared Tweet. We're all adults, not children. Thanks..

The rules are fine. People should follow them or get punished if they don't. I got the point the first time a mod reached out to me that there wasn't supposed to be any censored words in any of the media posted (tweets, YouTube videos, etc). Since then anything that is even remotely questionable I have posted in spoiler tags. Its a simple rule to follow. Pay attention to what you are posting and you don't get in trouble.

I disagree with closing the thread due to one person's negligence. Some of us have already learned our lesson and shouldn't be deprived because someone else hasn't.

Right. Seems like a different set of rules depending on the day of the week. But we're mostly just children, so it is what it is, so closing the most popular thread for everyone doesn't have to make much sense or really even be fair, I guess..

Alf got sanctioned for using the word, "poop".  It was a very sad day in the Alf house:(

The Trump thread is (likely) the most fun on the boards, but we do have children (real ones I think) on CDC, so we do need to keep the language tame.
