  1. Weber's done. 36 in the fall and projected to be out next season? You don't return from that in NHL quality shape
  2. Danila, thought we drafted a female for a second. This pick sounds promising. I just wish we had more picks this draft.
  3. Why is there urgency to move Nate anyway. He's not a bad player and already has some connection with the team. I'd be tempted to keep him. OEL-Hughes Schmidt-Myers Not a lethal D core but very respectable, and you can't make chicken salad out of chicken $&!# overnight, folks.
  4. Except we keep adding pieces, moving pieces out. These guys have never played before and might take 'a long time' to gel together to be any legitimate threat, but by then the playoffs are already gone and we're back at the drawing board wondering what happened.
  5. It's a good deal on paper. Benning damned if he do, damned if he don't. I was obviously critical of him letting Toffoli walk for nothing - but now he's unloaded three guys who unfortunately weren't doing much for us and eating a ton of cap for two guys who should be able to contribute for many years to come.
  6. Maybe they don't want three brothers for reasons. One wants out, so do the other two, and so forth. They aren't married at the hip like the twins but there could be other potential problems perhaps.
  7. A little funny to think that dopey looking kid in the back right is a 3x champion and hall of famer.
  8. Except that's not how it work. Unvaccinated people or those perceived to be unvaccinated, or even those who are but aren't as paranoid as their colleagues regarding those who aren't, have just as much rights as anybody else. You do not have the right to bully those in the workplace because they refuse to bend over backwards to satisfy your paranoia, especially those that are already following recommended guidelines
  9. Which is great that they can't. And they can't ask for your status on your vaccination. And they can't mandate you get one either. Plenty of legal red tape involved in that. There are certain exceptions such as healthcare but in most cases this won't be a thing. But that won't stop the office Nazis from enforcing their own rules: where my mother works only a handful of staff are beyond reasonable; even though you aren't required to do this and that such as you are not required to wear your mask at your desk, isolated, they are bullying employees into doing it and making their life miserable for not complying with their levels of paranoia. Which brings me back to my point earlier: if you are vaccinated and are still deathly terrified of the virus, that is your &^@#ing problem. Stay the &^@# home and leave people alone.
  10. yep.. a handful of barely recognizable names. I don't get it.
  11. Seeing the team they could have built vs the one they did. Someone compiled a roster of the left over players. I dunno.. they're banking hard on potential..
  12. Despite some of the no-name players, I think the team is a little better than I thought of yesterday. Still a contender for a top five pick next year for sure.
  13. Tyler Tofolli or Tanev can be used in this trade. Oh, wait, we gave them away for nothing.
  14. Moving out Petey and Quinn for picks and prospects. That's why Schmidt is moving out - this team isn't contending for the playoffs.
  15. As you can with the regular flu which kills many thousands of people a year. As covid isn't going anywhere, if people are going to be this paranoid, they might as well barricade themselves inside their home because you can't avoid unvaccinated people, you can't ask them to prove they are before you interact with them because that's already too late and you don't have that right anyway, and you certainly can't force them to get a shot, so..
  16. Hysterical vaccinated people so worried that their vaccine won't protect them from someone who isn't vaccinated that they'll avoid them like the plague.
  17. Higher cases than this time last year apparently.
  18. Went to the office today for the first time in 15 months at a new job. Actually accomplished less there than I would have at home. I really hope this antiquated notion of "you gotta be in the office" goes the way of the dodo bird. It's such a bull$&!# mentality.
  19. yes, unfortunately. I can't recall recent cup winners throwing away key assets of their team for nothing
  20. Giving away key assets of your team.. 50 years of cup drought and counting because of decisions like this
  21. Since we gave up Toffoli and Tanev for nothing we have nothing to bargain with so don't expect any truly impactful moves.
  22. Some sales people are so annoying.

Pushing too hard. Computer software. Lesson learned: use fake contact credentials. But this was for a fairly general webinar.. that had nothing to do with anything they were selling, at least on the surface, although they had a pitch at the end for their own product.

      Everything is a sales pitch!

  23. J&J with yet another dangerous product this time recalling various sunscreens because they contain benzene. I would be very hesitant to put anything in my body produced by those idiots.
