  1. I like giving players the benefit of the doubt. I was a critic of Raymond as many people were but I also figured with one good off season completely healthy he'd come around to his former self and I'm happy for him that he has. One post I agreed King of the BS with is offering Garrison such a big contract after one season. It could either work out for us or blow up in our face. It's not really working out right now because 4.6 for 6 is too much to offer a guy to just play sound defensively, even though he's had some absolutely brutal give aways this season. I'm sure Garrison's offensive game will come around eventually, most players do. Of course if this team was losing then his struggle would be magnified big time
  2. I never said he wasn't a strong player defensively so apply your strawman argument's elsewhere. All I'm saying is Garrison's huge selling point was his last season in Florida, offensively speaking, and as of now he is not living up to his current cotnract. There are TWO ends of the ice to play and not one and if anyone disputes that then they are wrong.
  3. I know, "players take time to fit in". Fine, I get that, but how long is less than mediocre offensive output from a player of his stature acceptable for? I know some fans wear the rose coloured glasses all the time where as I only do for a while until it's too bloody obvious there's an issue. We're nearly half way through this season, and would be nearly a quarter through 82 games and there's no signs he picking it up. The point I am making is that he is not living up to his contract and if anyone disputes that then they are wrong because there are TWO ends of the ice to play and not one. Gillis isn't offering Garrison the contract he did if he had another 5 goal and 18 point campaign instead of his 16 goal 37 point season last year -- his offense was a massive pay day for him.
  4. What hell are you talking about? His offense WAS his major selling point and we bought it. Gillis didn't fork out 4.6 million for his +6 rating and his 18 points prior to that, I'll tell you that right now. And I don't think anyone ever stated around here that he was going to total or better his 16 goals from last season but we certainly sure as hell expected a lot better than a 15 point season over 82 games which he currently on pace for.
  5. No, but he hasn't given much in the way of thinking he'll live up to his contract.
  6. Is that Bure? No mum, it's Luongo..... But Bure still plays for the Canucks right? *Facepalm

yes, lol, i still <3 my mum.

  7. Three points in 16 games? justifies his contract? He was selling his offense, we bought it, and it certainly hasn't paid off.
  8. Okay, thanks, I'll check that out. . Ya, I don't like it, it's like you're really drunk and things are getting real blurry.
  9. Anyway, these are the last shots for a while. It's working. I haven't added some of the other recommended mods but I probably will if I think they're worth it. Not much of a drop in FPS. But I don't know why there is such an ugly blending of the background as shown in the fourth picture. Something to do with the .ini files I assume.
  10. What binary file are you suppose to DL for the Wilds? I grabbed any random file (dumb, whatever) the first time which is probably why it didn't work. However the tutorial doesn't say which one to use other than download the binary from the ENB forum. Winterheart tells you to use either 113 or 119. http://www.enbdev.co...d_tesskyrim.htm Nevermind, it's ENB 149 for the Wilds which isn't listed on that site even though the other ENB's direct you towards it :/ Oh, and Winterheart did work. It's intentionally designed to always be grey and gloomy. Not exactly what I was working for but nice nonetheless.
  11. Breaking News; Hossa has been suspended a dozen games for being softer than butter.

  12. Pretty much. Booth, Ballard, Garrison. 0/3 Luongo to FL for Weiss and some other stuff and Weiss ends up being a dud too.
  13. And then my last post for now: This was the problem I had with the Wilds. It just looks awful: (The second shot is suppose to be midnight)
  14. Anyway, this ENB installed properly but I might have a conflict with something else (notice how it's always cloudy) so I'll have to fiddle around with it some more... Also, does your game load incredibly slow now? My game use to take ten seconds max. Since putting on ENB, the load screens take nearly a minute which is a pain in the arse when you're trying to fix an issue.
  15. I've ditched RCRN for now. If I follow instructions to a T and eliminate every possible conflict I can think of and still have issues then I'm probably not going to piss around with it, especially if there are other similar options available. I had most of those mods you mentioned earlier but I decided to go with Winterheart ENB instead. I'm not sure how I feel about it however. I had problems with the Wilds; the snow was blinding - it could almost destroy your retinas . I'll get around to backing up my saves at least, good idea. I don't use CoT, I noticed how ENB producers stressed the hell out of the incompatibility between the two mods.
  16. You can't see from the shots but there are a couple concerning issues you'd know about if you played. I know the mod load order makes a difference and I know the mods are in order. The screen shots look fine but RCRN I'm convinced still isn't running as intended. I had a mod conflict where the weather would stay consistent regardless of where you were; there was a blizzard in Falkreath, lol. I ultimately fixed that. I've disabled all other lighting and mods that affect the weather. But the problems now seem to be that the weather doesn't cycle like the vanilla version of the game does. It refused to rain so I had to enter a console command to get that going again. Whether that actually addresses the issue long term or not I have yet to find out. Also, mountains and objects in the distance tend to flicker like a dying light bulb when I move. Some objects tend to load very poorly as I approach them such as hill sides which is incredibly eye catching and disappointing to see. Also, RCRN 3.6 includes this volumetric fog (like fog in RL) that you can see in some of the southern parts of Skyrim and that doesn't seem to work either. I should have stuck with RCRN 3.5 as that was flawless. RCRN is basically a composition of other graphic enhancing mods anyway. I might go the route you did and do it manually with individual mods as it's obvious you can get something very similar or better. I already have a bunch of the mods you have.
  17. Interesting to see former goalie McLennan justify Miller's crying on camera while former player Ray Ferraro called him a cry baby.

I don't blame him, he whines alot but the Sabres suck at defense.

  18. Kassian to train MMA in the off season with GSP.

    1. Hugemanskost

      Hugemanskost

Whoopdy Doo! Rather see him train hockey with the Sedins again. Top 6 forwards don't need to be MMA fighters. Kassian is tough enough already. He needs to be on the ice, not in the box. leave the fighting to the 4th line.

  19. Well, that's good. A fat contract based on 40 games. I care. Consistency is what should count. If scoring in bunches is what counts then Kesler's performance against Nashville should negate how much he sucked against the Bruins. Same with the twins against the Sharks only to blow chunks against the Bruins as well.
  20. He has certainly been a dud. People will continue to give him more time. But how much more? Another 10 games? 20 games? How will they try to justify his lack of production? He's not suddenly going to find his game right before the playoffs and quarterback that PP.
  21. Alright, you tempted me to upload a few. Most of those are with RCRN... not working as intended. I might go the way you have and copy your mods. A lot of those I already have anyway.
  22. Oh, I didn't see those mods listed. Yeah, I might ditch RCRN soon. What the hell is the point of a mod if you have to keep pissing around with it hoping it works the next time you boot up the game.
  23. Screenshots never actually do the in game visual justice but yours look better than mine. Are you using some sort of program for the shots or just the regular f12?
  24. Are you running RCRN 3.6? I use to have 3.5 which was flawless and compatible with other mods but this 3.6 version is pissing me off and ruining the game for me.
