@higgyfan, I'm not delusional enough to think he would ever achieve such stardom, the premise of my comment are about a small players attributes by comparison and in this case how does Jordan's skill sets match up with the aforementioned players. I have yet to see him establish his own reputation as an effective small player, in my opinion he has been a disapointment and doesn't appear to be working out here, perhaps someplace else it may work out for him, good luck Jordan!

I don't see his game evolving. by comparison to players of small stature both past n present: i don't see any theo fleury in him, can't touch cliff ronning's skill set, not near as sensational as denis savard or talented like paul kariya and not even close to brendan gallagher's desire...

Suddenly the black n gold are getting the respect they deserve in vancouver, benning was the overwhelming fave in this forum for the job. a quick turn around is not out of the realm with this team's core...

@ban tsn love your photo, the cbc tsn bash....all toronto all the time and when their done all montreal all the time, the vancouver reports or coverage are like well an after thought or time filling....

you mentioned that virtanen is " light years ahead of evander kane ", the kid has yet to play in the nhl ( can he take it to the next level like kane has ) to make an outrageous statement like that. i've seen far too many flops with credentials coming in to the bigs that were can't miss. but i have to admit i am tired of the canucks organization not drafting or positioning themselves to draft locals who have shined or shown nhl potential right under their noses, we'll see what transpires on draft day 2014.
