What are you most excited about for the upcoming season?
redhdlois replied to cuporbust's topic in Canucks Talk
It was just added as an option....thus the lack of votes -
I heard J&J is appealing it, so hmmm, let me guess......OK will never see any of this money. The rich just keep getting richer and the sick just keep getting sicker......

I didn’t get past the first option lol, but I guess making the playoffs would be great too! -

Lol weird! I am just watching Broadchurch S.1. For some reason lately I’ve been hooked on British crime/mysteries. I really liked Unforgotten. Caught anything?

If you like Broadchurch, you’d probably enjoy Unforgotten (Series 1-3).

Debt consolidation companes in Canada?! Is it reliable?
redhdlois replied to kurtzfan's topic in Off-Topic General
One thing those ads on tv for debt consolidation don’t tell you, is that a consumer proposal will be a mark on your credit score....just like a bankruptcy. -
August 19, 2019 Journal entry by Laurie Boeser — 1 hour ago Duke had his chest tube removed yesterday. He had a successful trach procedure today. He is resting comfortably. We are very thankful!

August 16, 2019 Journal entry by Laurie Boeser — 57 minutes ago Duke has had a couple of positive days. He is resting better at night, his lungs are improving (pneumonia), he has his eyes open a lot and appears to be a bit more aware of his surroundings. He has been sitting up in a recliner for a couple of hours each day. He’s doing periodic trials throughout the day where he breathes mostly on his own (ventilator settings turned down). Because he still has delirium, the Drs suggested a tracheotomy instead of taking him off the vent completely. He needs to be alert and consistently able to follow directions in order to remove the ventilator. He’s not quite there yet. Therefore, he will be having a trach procedure on Monday. This will get the tube out of his throat and help him be more comfortable. Hopefully then he can get off the sedation which has been required due to coughing spasms from the pneumonia and/or from the sensation of the tube. He also restarted his cancer med today. So we feel thankful for these positive steps. He still has fight left in him! So we ask for prayers for his surgery on Monday and for his cancer med to get busy and zap those nasty cells. We look forward to each and every day with Duke, Dad, and Grandpa! God bless him and keep him safe (he used to say that to our kids at bedtime). And our continued thanks for the many ways that people are helping us. ❤️

August 13, 2019 Journal entry by Laurie Boeser — 1 hour ago Duke continues to battle - thank the Lord! Not much change to report - still has pneumonia, still on vent, still has delirium. But he is getting better rest which will help him with all of the above challenges. His top notch care in the ICU at the UofM gives me peace of mind when I leave each day. Thank you for the cards with well wishes, prayer cards, hospital visits, and nice text messages. It helps so much. Again the UofM commented on the constant support of Duke by family and friends. ❤️ ❤️❤️
