Arizona State is where Eddie Lack works right now. He's the goaltending coach down there. They're building something interesting down there for sure. Mario Lemieux's son Austin plays for Arizona State as does Daniel Briere's son Carson.
They've got a few intriguing players down there. Johnny Walker, James Sanchez, and Brinson Pasichnuk all appear to be on there way to NHL deals. Johnny Walker is an Arizona born and trained player and would be a P.R. coup for the Coyotes to sign. (Though Johnny Walker is a player I've wanted the Canucks to sign since last year).
Maniscalo does intrigue me. I have a feeling he returns for his junior season, though. But I hope the Canucks utilize the NCAA ranks more... I feel like it's an untapped market still and there's a lot of talent that gets to over ripen in that system.
You can't have enough right shots in your system, that's for sure.
