  1. Totally. But optimism about next season won't protect people's jobs given how badly they're playing right now.
  2. The Canucks not making the playoffs is going to be viewed as a major step back, despite the line up probably looking a lot different next season and someone dynamic like Podkolzin. So i guess I don't really care how many wins because it's going to be a $&!# show in social media anyways. Sad reacts only please.
  3. Worried about this too, esp. if firings are due to an outlier season. That being said if the axe falls, I guess there are some good options like Krueger/Hextall.
  4. I mentioned in a previous post the same thing. The vet loaded line up is a kiss of death, esp. when they can't execute anyways. You need more Nils/Chatfield's in the line up to generate SOME turnovers. TOR is basically holding on to the puck with ease.
  5. @oldnews I really like Chatfield's game. For all the talk about losing a heart and soul / all out effort guy in Stretcher, I think they have something in JC. It's too bad his NHL debut has to be when the team is at its worse.
  6. If TG ices the vets again it's going to be the kiss of death. Slow, can't execute, no real puck pressure. This team desperately needs all of its best skaters on the ice if they want to create any momentum
  7. Lol forgot about that. How 'Canucks' would that have been. The rage is already strong enough
  8. People think I'm in love with Green but scratching Zack for say Roussel has me scratching my head
  9. And my bad for saying bad fan take. Even if I strongly disagree I don't need to be like that
  10. If players are upset where theyre playing in the line up given how God awful the team has been doing, then yeah, there definitely is a problem behind the scenes. Green is trying to make adjustments and when I hear we should start feeling pitty for a player for DEAR LORD playing on a different line then yeah, I'm going to speak my mind about that. I've already stated what I think about line up decisions. I don't think players are nearly as self centered and have as fragile egos as you seem to think. I think that's a bad take and you can certainly disagree with mine.
  11. If this is what you think then fine, but I strongly disagree. Not everybody is as self centered as you think.
  12. Again, I just said from experience. I don't know how else to explain it, but whatever. You just keep doing you.
  13. I just said from experience. Not everyone that plays hockey is as self centered as you are. Guess what Einstein, it's a team sport
  14. This is such a bad fan take. First, players don't care where they are in the line up-THEY WANT TO WIN. Guaranteed given the rut their in I doubt any player on the roster cares what line they are on if it results in a win. Second, TG probably feels more comfortable with LE in a match up role, which frees up Hoglander on the third line to get (a) better match ups (b) spark some secondary scoring. Yeah, SMH . This is @canuck2288 level of bad
  15. In zone defense and defending in the neutral zone seems to be the real crutch, and I see it as a long term problem. Myers and Gaudette kind of stand out to me the most in those areas. Roussel has been just OK given his inconsistent play.
  16. And to add to that, people never seem to mention resume building. Like it or not, Malhotra is in a corporate world-people leave jobs for new ones all the time
