  1. Yeah, Im usually fairly conservative when it comes to rookies, but I have this belief that Chatfield and Rafferty are ready to go, or at least it's time to see if they sink or swim. Juolevi is probably the rookie I'm most unsure of, but I hope he impresses too. In any event, I like the idea of seeing if these fellas can play and Im excited about the (potential) energy they can inject. 2021-22 will be damn interesting if these guys can be regulars in the line up....
  2. Id like to see this as well. It's a shortened/oddball season anyhow. I also think you'd get the wolf pack mentality going as well with these young kids playing for one another/fighting for jobs.
  3. And probably by the most disgusting and grotesque methods fur farms typically use
  4. I hope there is a special place in hell for the owners and people who work here: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/minks-covid-positive-fraser-valley-farm-1.5834638 Better yet, save those minks and drop a bomb on the place
  5. I should have been more clear. What JB said and how TG handles him is fine. It's all part of developing him as an athlete. If in the end he doesn't live up to his potential I wouldn't slam him for it. That's what I mean by easier said than done-its not an easy gig to be an elite athlete. Yes, I know he could make millions of dollars etc etc but not everyone is wired to have the sort of discipline required. But I do hope it comes together for him.
  6. Just finished Spence v Garcia. Not much to say other than Spence dominated another opponent, and Garcia isn't a cakewalk. Really want to see Spence v Crawford now. Spence's power and high output vs Crawford's slick skills and compete level.
  7. To be fair, it's easier said than done to be an elite athlete. The discipline required in all aspects of life can be very tough to deal with for a young person. Do I hope Jake gets there? Certainly, but I would never admonish someone that just didn't have it in them to become an elite athlete.
  8. I'm really excited about the upcoming season. Hoping the young players trying out / the new recent additions will help increase the pace of play I think the organization wants to see. Not too concerned with how the season goes unless they tank hard- just want to see potential/improvement from the younger players. I like gamble by JB and co- hope it pays off.
  9. I haven't looked up how big Paul is, but he's gotta be quite a bit bigger than Floyd no?
  10. People often conflate critical thinking with irrational claims
  11. Mary Hui (sp?) would be an awesome replacement
  12. It might be time to call in the heavy hitter
  13. Podkolzin and Hoglander are going to be heat seeking missiles.

  14. I don't like watching older guys bang like that lol Tyson wasnt messing around lol. Is he making a comeback?
  15. Im not a die hard Beatles fan, but I grew up listening to a lot of Abby Road due to my dad. Hard to believe he never played the white album growing up
  16. Gemeni Man Not nearly as bad as I was expecting. Action scenes were entertaining. Didn't catch myself groaning or looking at the clock so it gets an entertaining grade in my books
