  1. Sounds like fun. I'll add a roster after work *** Ok so I played around with the idea last night. I'll let the numbers people chime in, I'll just put the roster that I'd like to see and that I think roughly might fit under the cap. Will try consider chemistry/special teams when it comes to lines, and realistic somewhat. Miller EP Toffoli Pearson Horvat Leivo Ferland Gaudette Virtanen Motte/Roussel Beagle MacEwan Roussel/Motte Hughes Myers Edler Rafferty Tryamkin Stetcher Benn Markstrom Demko *** I would definitely like to see Leivo re-signed, possibly even 2-3 years if they can work out a fair deal. Toffoli inked to a deal too. Markstrom re-signed. Jake is causing me a headache. He could just as easily be moved depending on what sort of deal he's aiming for. Going to assume Ferland is going to come back based on Dhaliwal's reports, but maybe he goes ltir after the first concussion related injury. Eriksson compliance buy out. Sutter & Baertschi traded. Ok maybe that's rose coloured glasses but with Boeser being moved, maybe that allows them to move some money along with him, with salary retained etc. if needed. In return, I'd like to see them get some help on the blue line, ideally a younger d man. In short, this is going to be a hell of an off season, whenever that is.
  2. So basically what you're saying is that we can infer whatever garbage/nonsense we want and pass it off as 'reading btw the lines' because mone of it has to be reasonably justified/factually supported. Smh I have yet to hear from any credible media source that Brackett is "unhappy". If that's wrong, by all means someone post something credible. If not, this gossip belongs in the trash
  3. And what about the entirety of the scouting staff? They have multiple scouts looking at the same players to build consensus. Judd doesn't make reccomendations based on players he's seen alone- that would be ridiculous. The regional scouts play a big role- the Director of Am. Scouting takes a lot of direction/info from them.
  4. Do people really think the amateur scouting department is going to fall apart if he leaves? From what I've read, the Canucks have a standardized system to evaluate now, and as long as they have a good staff, which apparently they do, they can absorb losing someone like Judd. Good organizations always have to deal with losing talent.
  5. Not a black eye at all. People leave/switch organizations all the time for different/new opportunities when it comes to work. If Judd wants to try his thing with a new team that's OK
  6. Not sure if it's nostalgia or what. The game is kinda janky in its current state, but it's fun as hell to try and complete your objectives while a predator is hunting you. They did a really good job with the Predator. His movement through trees and trying to spot him for your team I really dig. You have to work as a team to take him down, or just try and hold on long enough to complete the objectives and make it to the chopper. Pretty much all the abilities you've seen in the movies are there too. It's by the same studio that made Friday the 13th which I thought had a lot of tension too
  7. Shape of Water Enjoyable but not really my cup of tea 7/10
  8. Dayam, didn't think I'd like predator: hunting grounds this much.
  9. Ozark S3 halfway through and loving it
  10. Good thing you're joking
  11. He's not inexperienced....
  12. Do they though? As a former player green has a ton of relateable experience- he even said he has to watch himself from trying to impart too much from his playing days. I get that your not thrilled with Green so far, but this team is just beginning to become competitive. I think he deserves some wiggle room, to at least see what sort of step they take next season (this goes for JB and TG).
  13. Out for this weekend, pretty fun taking down a Pred
  14. You know what I like about Travis Green? He's a student of the game. Good interview with him on sportsnet650. Hammers home the point that you can't expect a roster to play a style they might not be able to. Flexible. As rosters evolve and change so too will his coaching.
  15. Big fan of smiles with one tooth painted black
  16. I'd say suspension/cancellation of the season is categorically different tho, depending on how things play out.
