  1. RIP Roger Mayweather. Watched some of his fights, these two definitely stand out. 80s boxing was a totally different animal- and the refs lmao!
  2. Smh. I was having a reasonable/corgial discussion with others before you came along and decided to butt in and ruin it. Keep the side remarks to yourself.
  3. Your problem is a) lack of reading comprehension and b) vagueness. Your posts smell of someone who just likes to hear themselves talk and get sidetracked. Both myself and @The Lock stated you seem to miss the point. Then you go on to belittle others posts as "gibberish" and nonsense. Ironic coming from you. I asked for clarification on these so called mistakes green has made that warrant him being replaced. Go ahead and state those.
  4. Another interesting issue is compensation for the TDL moves- teams like the Canucks who gave up assets to get into/play in the playoffs have a fair argument as far as they got robbed of the time/opportunity they paid for.
  5. I hear what you're saying. Coaches need to be judged on their individual capability. Experience is just one component of that. So far, I haven't seen anything from Green/the team that warrants replacing him. This roster still has a ways to go, and Id give Green the time needed as the roster evolves.
  6. I believe the criticism will be that once they return to play, Green will have coached them to be too passive during their time off.
  7. You know what I like about Travis Green? How he handles his young players. Moved EP to center, gave him time to adjust where a lot of coaches might now have. Gives Boeser and Hughes a lot of rope to play their game. His firm but fair approach with Virtanen is exactly what he needs. Started out as a coach in Portland, won a championship there. Gotta love the guy
  8. You know what I like about Travis Green? 14 year NHL veteran. High draft pick. Played in big markets. He's seen it all. Gotta love that experience
  9. Green isn't an inexperienced coach, neither is Berube, Tochett or Brindamour who are all first time NHL head coaches. If you're going to criticize green, at least say something substantial.
  10. I kinda sorta disagree. While not absolutely necessary, having experience as a player helps. I've had coaches who have never played, and would the try to over coach certain things and it's frustrating as a player.
  11. I like how you completely be ignored the relevant points @The Lock brought up to you. Solid response yet again wtg
  12. great response, this coming from the guy who thinks not being an NHL assistant first "likely" played a role in whatever "mistakes" he's made lmao
  13. Or you could just answer the question what mistakes are YOU referring to?
  14. You're not necessarily correct, and neither is kushman. You're weighing 'nhl coaching inexperience' strongly as if it must have bearing on Green's coaching capability. I didn't rule out the possibility that maybe it could have an impact, but if I'm hazarding a guess I'd say it's unlikely given Green's NHL background and coaching experience. That seems like the more reasonable position IMO. Whatever "mistakes" you're referring to I'm not familiar with either.
  15. All great fighters. I would add James Toney to that list. Was probably my favorite growing up
  16. Yeah I noticed it's in the works. Would be a good watch. Yep. I don't see much to get stoked on in the division-been that way for the last decade at least. I guess the klitschkos we're good but still wasn't a great division during their run. Now the welterweight division is deep, just gotta get some decent match ups set up.
  17. Caleb Plants last fight was dominant. Wonder if we'll ever see an Alvarez / Plant fight down the road
  18. Can't believe I'm saying this but I'm finally starting to get bored of For Honor
  19. Watched bits and pieces of it while my wife watched it- seemed really good. Mid 90's Jonah Hill's directorial debut I believe, and what a fantastic coming of age movie. Glad I finally got around to watching it.
  20. Castlevania S3 just came out if any other nerds are I to this sort of thing. It's surprisingly really good
