  1. I'm not too worried about Bo's contract at all. The last bunch of contracts have been quite good (yes Loui still has a lot more to prove). If they want to do something long term then it could be a little more tricky- if Meehan is looking for a bigger pay day for example. If that fails a short term contract that keeps him as a RFA is definitely something the Canucks can do right?
  2. i think the burning question is what does the night king name his dragon? I'm going with JoJo
  3. LMAO off at Ryan Biech.  You think you know more than JB just using analytics?  Get over yourself buddy

  4. he's 20 years old dude. Markus Granlund and Sven Baertschi are just starting to show top 6 potential and they are 24. Not too long ago they were complete write offs, and it has taken a couple of years after that with the Canucks for them to show they have that potential. With Jake, maybe he is not progressing as fast as people would like for such a high draft pick, but I wouldnt write him off just yet. Between Green and Trent Cull he will have excellent guidance.
  5. The moustache and the hair do it for me A little more scoring next season wouldnt hurt either
  6. Meek's Cutoff: 8/10 It could have gotten a 9 if it threw in some cannibalism
  7. I didnt really get the chance to watch him play during the scrim. Is there a video uploaded anywhere that I can watch?
  8. right on. I was getting angry at the father watching it-just goes to show the movie/script did a good job!
  9. What's CDC's policy on warning points?  Not that I'm in any danger, but shouldn't warning points be deleted after X amount of time e.g 3-4 years?

@Salmonberries half of that, 5 points for a permanent ban.

  10. Paypal Gurus: I'm interested in putting a deposit down for an item, the rest when we are eventually able to meet.  Anyone have an idea how to create an agreement/proof of purchase via paypal that safely covers my deposit (i.e. it gets returned if I don't get the item)?

Get the seller to send you an actual invoice not just a request for the money. It's one of the options provided. The invoice allows the seller to write the item/terms/conditions/price, basically any details you want. That's more for full purchases in complete though. Might be different for deposits? I personally would just recommended completing the transaction in full when you can rather than any kind of deposit.

@RRypien37 Luckily the seller seems laid back and will hold onto the items for me.  Perfect!  But if I need to do a deposit that's some good info that you suggested.

@SILLY GOOSE I would get him to send you an official invoice rather than just a money request either way. Covers you much better regardless if its the full money up front deal.

  11. Ricky Gervais posted this *warning graphic*.  Moral Relativism anyone?

I think he was thanking you for warning him about the video so he didn't end up watching it.

      oh! my apologies @Salmonberries .

  12. Honestly, after watching some WJC games where him and Dahlen were linemates, Pettersson stood out more for me as the most dynamic all around player. His play in all three zones is very under rated so far. JB is right when he says he makes his linemates better.
  13. Good players know their deficiencies (which he does) and work their ass off to get them to a level their happy with. He seems like that type of person. Im really happy with this pick!
  14. He sounds like a VERY determined and bright kid. Exactly the kind of pick you want where they got him.
  15. sounds like the next Jonathan Quick!
