  1. Nice dude, other than @ShakyWalton and @RRypien37 we've got a pretty small crowd here. Seems like some really good fights are lined up for this year too! Finished the Chocolatito Cuadras fight. Had a nice old school Ward/Gatti kinda vibe to it. Chocolatito on the constant attack but I really liked Cuadras counter punching and movement. Too bad there had to be a loser in this one
  2. Yeah, it will be interesting to see if someone can expose that, but I even wonder how easy it would be to hurt GGG. Maybe someone can out point him but he seems like he won't be an easy guy to break down
  3. @ShakyWalton @RRypien37 did you guys get a chance to watch GGG/Brook? Lot of people seemed unimpressed with GGG's performance but after watching the fight I still think he is not going to be easily beaten by anybody anytime soon. Kind of reminds me of Paquiao when he was in his prime- not the slickest boxer but he is a hunter with hands of stone. You could tell Brook was only going to withstand so many punches because each punch GGG landed seemed to hurt Brook. I think you can definitely say it was an uneven matchup but even natural middleweights are not going to easily take GGG's power.
  4. Hell or High Water - 8.5 / 10 Reminded me of Heat with a modern western vibe Plan on checking Arrival out soon as well
  5. Yes! So often in the media I hear these analysts talking about players peaking in their mid 20's and regressing after that which is ludicrous. I know everyone is different, but real physical maturity doesn't kick in like you say until your late 20's. And spot on about endurance. We live in such a I want it now kind of time and everyone expects way too much from a young kid like Jake. Great to see that he is training hard.
  6. I'm going to be all over For Honor when it comes out
  7. This is why I like Virtanen https://giphy.com/gifs/f41nKbmI7ewZW
  8. Sweet, me and pal are gonna check this out this week!
  9. I think you guys should give it a shot. It had a very independent vibe to it and the photographer (can't recall his name) has also done extensive work in Terrence Malick's films, so the cinemetography (like any good western!) is stunning
  10. Yeah the remake of 310 was great. Just curious whether you have seen Seraphim Falls? I know Pierce Brosnan and maybe Liam Neeson don't seem like good fits for a western, but I was pleasantly surprised by that one.
  11. Of Leone's Dollars Trilogy, this one is probably my favorite too. Moriconne's score rips. Are you guys (RR & Monty) into spaghetti western's? I'm a huge fan of the genre
  12. Enemy is not a crime drama like the other 2, a good watch and filmed in Toronto
  13. I'm looking forward to Arrival in November. Villeneuve's last 3 movies (Sicario, Enemy, Prisoners) were huge favorites of mine.
  14. So was the Pusher series. Actually Valhalla Rising was good too. NWR seems to be doing these art films that seem to be accessible to guys like him, plus he wrote OGF & NeonDemon whereas Drive was written by someone else. He's shown he can craft good movies, maybe he should leave the primary screenplay to someone else for his next
  15. A 6th overall draft pick, over 600 career games and years of management experience and scouting. I think he knows a thing or two about hockey
  16. Sing Street: kind of cheesy but also kind of good. Nice flick for you and the misses/mr
  17. posted this in the CDN edition but listening to once again and this banger too

Cast iron and use some pam or cooking spray to prevent sticking
