  1. Re-tool is a good idea. IMO untouchables are Sedins/Kesler/Luongo/Tanev/Kassian. A few trades involing the rest of the team for younger players is a good idea moving forward to compliment the above group.
  2. I agree the 4th line has earned more playing time
  3. I think people under estimate the value and chemistry Burrows has with the Twins. With Burr's injurues and now Hank it has been an off year so far for all three.
  4. watch this game blow up into something huge lol
  5. Canucks are a tougher team with Torts at the helm. Love it
  6. think more people will be tuneing into Canucks games now......
  7. always been smart. you just gotta start agreeing more'
  8. No offense but it is whining like this about not getting enough 'respect' that leads to a lack of respect in the first place, and which the Canucks were known for. Like it or not, the Canucks are having to earn respect the hard way, and it is just a part of reality.
  9. someone want to be a champ and post that line brawl for me? I'm here at work and would LOVE to see what t he heck is happening!
  10. tough times for CDC better stock up on your hankerchiefs
  11. tough loss. I have been one of the last people crying for MG to make a trade and I doubt even just a different forward can change much (face it people the Cali teams are just playing too good right now but that can change) but it might be worth the risk for MG to try something. Canucks need to generate more scoring chances.
  12. good to see that CDC isn't in a big huff about the loss but I'm betting the Canucks are pissed off as hell about the loss. They really worked hard that game to win it.
  13. Canucks had good pushback, and really came together as a team. I mean, every player every shift was out trying to finish their checks. That is awesome to see as a fan. Really wish they could have won that one because there are very few times I think the Canucks deserve to win, and this was one of them. Keep up the good work boys.
  14. Too early for Edler to return? Burrows?
  15. And so does 29 other teams right? Easier said then done. Restructure the team? That makes no sense because the Canucks are already competetive team. And re-structuring is far from a sure thing. Trade the Sedins/Kesler/Defense/whatever and you are far from guaranteed a cup because who knows what sort of chemistry you'll end up with. Look at EDM. Great young impact players but overall weak as a team. COL is doing well but they were far from a sure thing for quite awhile. Again, restructuring the team is an unnecesary risk when you have a very competetive team that can play well in an already competetive conference. Plus you forget the human element. Players play well at different times. That is the nature of being an athlete unless you are someone special like Sydney Crosby. Sometimes athletes come together and play great like ANH and SJ is doing now, but a couple of years ago people were seriously doubting whether there was anything left. Point is, if players have the skill and the compete level you have to place trust in them. Canucks have a good core, and who knows how they will do this year but in the long run the Canucks are a competetive team, with young players coming up.
  16. oi its gonna be an interesting second half of the season
  17. And after all that these same people should assume that somehow magically other GM's are interested in trading said players, let alone for what they are getting in return. Yes CDC, other GM's are thinking exactly like you are
  18. Yeah and obviously YOU know how being a GM works right? ROFL. stick to playing on hockey forums rather than talking about a proffessional position as if you know anything baout the position
  19. maybe you should try playing pro hockey against one of the best teams in the NHL right now before you start flapping your mouth. Oh wait- you don't. IMO good effort by the Canucks. Canucks were tired as hell and almost pulled it off. On to the next one.
  20. Lack is gonna have to stand on his head for the Canucks to pull this one off
  21. Got to hand it to LA. They dominated play most of the time. Canucks played well though and almost grinded out a better result.
