  1. i hope not. i also wonder if the dermott injury is partly to blame
  2. PAIR OEL & HUGHES TOGETHER TOMORROW DANG NABBIT
  3. I do NOT want to see OEL & Myers paired together.
  4. Ill probably be dead before this team can draft and develop a stable of defenseman
  5. Yeah. I think one of the main reasons JTM wasnt traded was because the offers wernt up to par-would another team buck up for Bo?
  6. So when the Canucks lost Tanev it was considered a major blow to the team/left a big hole on the back end. Would losing Bo amount to the same thing? I cant see him taking any less than $7m and even that might require a really tough negotiation
  7. I think I was definitely willing to give Poolman a fair shake, but man his break out passes can be horrendous at times-enough for me to see a pattern. If his play doesnt significantly improve I dont think waivers/AHL is unfair at all. Would be a bummer if it came to that-I was hoping hed impress
  8. As much as the Canucks may need help/different looks, Im hesitant about chasing pricey players. Big bets w new players havnt treated the Canucks well
  9. Yeah. Poolman and Myers were bets that havnt worked out. Up front Dickinson as well. If the Canucks could magically move those three I think the composition of the team would change drastically
  10. I know the defense group is the hot topic these days, but I was really hoping under Boudreau/some tweaks that the group would be good. Not great but good. I didnt watch the game last night but Im definitely getting a bit worried…..
  11. Finish work at 130am…..but still tempted to PVR and watch this one after. Im a sucker for how the 4th line pans out…Lazar, Joshua and ?? The key to this season is having four lines that can roll.
  12. Linus K has been solid so far. I hope he can keep growing his game because hes not too far off imo from being a NHL player
  13. Poolman’s strength is his skating. You saw it last game where he negated a breakaway due to his skating. I hope he can settle his play/be a difference maker in the D zone because as of right now, Im liking what Burroughs brings.
  14. Thats not grounds for dismissal. Being fired simply for being the love child of reptilian overlords strikes me as discriminatory. Justice for reptiles
  15. In fear of being labeled a sexist Im not saying anything definitive until more is known….
  16. Im going to start watching JR a bit more closely. Hes the type of player who I think will get better as the season goes along/gets adjusted. For now, as long as he can be solid defensively and be consistent with simple plays he will be on the right path.
