  1. Any plumbers in here ? Have a question regarding nail plates on studs protecting sprinkler lines behind the wall.

      It's not a project. My buddy was mounting a TV in his 5 year old condo and drilled through a sprinkler line, flooded 5 units. The line was installed 1/4 behind the stud at 5 feet high with no nail plate installed on the stud to stop penetration. My buddy is gonna go after the developer for no nail plates as it's common practice but I'm trying to find out if it's code or not.

      That might be a place to get the answer.

      sorry but did you notify your strata first before drilling into the walls? because  some strata's require permission before you  drill into any walls , you should read the your strata agreement  before doing any type of work
