    Fun to watch good hockey again, praying this can translate to next year...but it does feel different, more complete. Interested to see if OEL can be a good fit for Hronek, that just leaves finding a partner for Hughes and a 3C.

    I agree, expensive, and some risk. I am thinking Petey and Hughes desire not to be a part of a rebuild may have forced their hand....or you might as well trade them too.

    Or, devils advocate, we pick wrong and our 1st and 2nd dont pan out in 2-4/5 years time. Its a polarizing argument. I see both sides, but i think I am happier with the move, rather than holding picks.

    Agreed, was really pleased when we picked him. Thought his ceiling would be higher, but pretty happy with how he is trending. I think he could be a good fit for Hronek. Maybe not a binafide top 4 Dman, but potential to compliment well. Which leaves us needing a partner for Hughes.

    Koc-whatever was getting into the bench, what are they supposed to do, dive into the flyers bench to get him? Not to mention 2 linesman were already ushering him away.

    It would be a glorious daybif we could get out of the Miller contract. Keep Shenner for the cup winner, veteran presence to help mentor the young core. Add 1 ir 2 more in FA to compliment Shenner leasership. Overhaul the D, sell Demmer and get a vet goalie to carry the next couple years till a quality replacement can be found

    If a great deal is to be made, im all for it. I would think Quinn should be able to get better than what Horvat got. So 2 grade A+ young players, and a 1st to start. And probably a cap dump of some sort.
