  1. I've watched many of Dal Colle's interviews now, and I don't necessarily agree with many of the comments about him having an arrogant or poor attitude. In the combine interview he did look a little annoyed at the questions, but he also mentioned how all the interviews were mentally draining, so I'm inclined to give him a pass on that interview. All the other interviews look fine, maybe a little awkward, but not everyone is charasmatic in front of a camera. I'd put more weight in Coaches comments, than in how he comes off in an interview. Hell, the worst employee interview I ever conducted ended up being one of the best employees I've had.
  2. I think, based on his play towards the end of the season, kassian should be on that second line. Not convinced kesler will be here either. Although I would like to see shroeder get another chance. I just don't know how that looks
  3. He needs to adapt his game so he can play a top 6 winger position. Bottom 6 won't work, and he is too small for a top 6 centre.
  4. From what I understand he would have to clear waivers to play in Utica. Which I think is unlikely.
  5. Well said! Thanks for this. Now here's a thought, no flaming needed people. If we agree Edler is best playing a simplified defensive game and letting the offence come to him, and we agree he needs a PMD, what about a rookie? Jordan subban has great hands, speed and quickness, smart with the puck and the general consensus is, due to his size, he needs a large body with him to help create space. Might be worth looking at, especially because we have te depth, maturity and experience on te back end to support a rookie D option.
  6. Let's keep him and give him a real chance with some line mates that at least have some talent. For an extended period too, not just a couple games.
  7. Sweet playmaker, give him one more year. Put him in a position to use his strengths and see why happens.
  8. For sure, everyone carriers their weight differently. Can't wait to hear what the combine results show.
  9. Definately, this isn't a 9-5, 5 day a week job we're talking about here.
  10. Agreed, having our own farm team is going to pay huge dividends for us long term. Better than signing a premier free agent in my opinion
  11. I find it real hard to believe, any prospect with aspirations to play in the NHL would be silly enough to say something like that. It's like bad mouthing a previous employer in an interview, big no-no. I would be shocked if it's true.
  12. It really hurts when you read information like that...oh what could have been!
  13. Do you think Brown is that much faster? Gaunce seemed to have decent wheels when he got up to speed. Brown is definately faster off the start, which I suppose is much of the speed battle. Physicality will come I think, I did see a bit of a mean streak to him this year
