  1. That actually might not be a bad comparison.
  2. Ha, never heard Horvat described as lazy. Quiet the opposite.

  4. Last I saw, was an update on Wikipedia, 7 days ago. It listed him at 5' 11.75" 176lbs. I don't think he is going to end up small. Not big by any stretch, but certainly not small
  5. Omg, everyone calm down. IF Canucks management don't have a GM in place by the draft, I am comfortable with linden making the pick, under the advisement of the scouts, you know he will do his DD if called upon. As for benning, I wouldn't let him go before the draft either, if I was his current team. You can also look at it this way. IF the Canucks are preparing to go to the draft without a GM, and IF Boston is withholding benning till after the draft. Then the signs can still concievably point to Benning becoming the new Canucks GM.
  6. ^^if this is true, then he is very likely to grow to 6'+ and 185+. That's pretty decent size, certainly big enough to have a gret career in the NHL with his skill.
  7. I think we will eventually be pleased with whomever we pick at 6th overall. I have always thought size WITH skill is most important for us now, but I am warming up to te thought of Ehlers. Intersting note, just saw an update on wikipedia(I know it's not a hockey website) but it was updated 10 days ago. He is now listed at 5' 11.75" and 176lbs. Size is becoming less of a concern with Ehlers if this is true
  8. I can see that, he'll get his 9 games, then down he'll go. Once he gets up to speed I'm pretty sure he can secure a spot with the big boys.
  9. Maybe he wasn't the problem, but a coach has a shelf life, and I do believe he reached his. The room needed a new voice.
  10. He can't go back to junior, it's the nucks or Utica for him.
  11. I don't know, I think this was an off year for many reasons. I would be surpised if this is the new norm for them.
  12. I don't think we can pick wrong with the 6th pick. Any way you look at it, we will get a solid 2nd line nhl'er out of this draft. 1st liner if we're lucky. That's what my crystal ball says anyways
  13. Agreed, I really like his potential and his belief in himself, but at some point he needs I wake up and take some of the criticisms to heart, recognize it and improve upon it. He won't make it in the A playing the way he did that series
  14. I haven't watched tsn in years for precisely those reasons. Have no tolerance for any of them except maybe Bob Mckenzie

  16. He's certainly bought himself some time. I give him to the end of the year, unless something worthwhile comes up. Not only is his game improving, but he has an important intangible right now, he makes kassian better. They have good chemistry together and kassian is now starting to come around as well. I'd rather not disturb that.
  17. Nice, thank you! We Gould hopefully see burr and shredder back for beginning to mid January. It'll be nice to see if burr can jump start the sedins. Not tht they haven't been producing, just not what we are used to.
  18. However his game tonight is much better, but there lies the problem, where has this side of his game been for the last 10 games! For him to get any kind of consistent top 6 ice time, he needs to show he can consistently be a top 6 guy. Not float for 5-10 games then show up or 3-5. It's frustrating to see when there is so much potential there.
