  1. how we respond next period will show whether our team has turned a new leaf or not Also, I'd probably move Chiasson down and Hoglander and Podkolzin up
  2. Best of luck to Olli, will be keeping an eye on him, just sucks it won't be here on the Canucks
  3. Hope Kassian okay, never good to see someone's head hit the ice like that
  4. I went to 2 restaurants since it's been implemented. One scanned the passport and checked the ID, and then other one just checked the ID and looked at the name on the passport. I think it depends on the restaurant and I guess how tech savvy the staff there are.
  5. Seeing the fair amount of fans at the preseason game tonight at Abbotsford not wearing their masks properly or at all when there is a mask mandate for all indoors is just frustrating....no wonder our numbers aren't dropping Like it's one thing to be vax hesitant/anti vax and still taking all precautions seriously.....but to be that AND to just disregard all other precautions is just..... people seriously sucks
  6. Thought masks were mandatory for all indoor activities? They should be on your face ppl....not on your chin
  7. that goal horn scared the $&!# outta me....why couldn't we get something similar to last night's game
  8. you'd think they would have the stream all ready to go by 6pm to make sure everything runs smoothly......
  9. Finally found a stream on YouTube.....stupid Telus. Glad hockey is back, and I see Canuck fans have already found a new whipping boy
  10. I've been in Hong Kong for a month now, including 14-days of mandatory quarantine in a government designated hotel.....and being out and about for the past 2 weeks..... I just feel safer than I was back at home even though Hong Kong doesn't really have a high vaccination rate, it's literally impossible to social distance....I've been stuck at MTR stations during rush hour.....everyone pressing against each other, and life is pretty much normal. Right off the flight, PCR testing is required at the airport, and we had to sit at a designated area and wait for our results before being allowed to pass through immigration/customs and get our baggage. We are ushered onto arranged shuttles that will take us directly to the designated quarantine hotel. Our baggage are disinfected before leaving the airport and after arriving at the hotel. We check-in and are basically not allowed to leave until after 11:59pm on our 14th day of arrival. 3 meals a day are included in the hotel booking, but food/groceries are allowed. Family and friends are also allowed to drop off items at the entrance and hotel workers will deliver them outside our door. On the third day of arrival, saliva samples are collected. PCR tests are also done on the 9th and 12th day of arrival, the people come do the nose/throat swab right at your hotel room door. Once 14day quarantine is done, we had to do another PCR test on the 16th and 19th day of arrival at our nearest testing location (community centres). Everytime, results are sent to us via SMS within 24 hours. Most venues (shops, restaurants, pubs, etc) require temperature checks and scanning the QR code for the government app Leave home safe (basically a tracking app and letting you know in case you were at the same place/time as a positive patient) Restaurants and pubs have 4 different tiers, with A being 2 per table and dining allowed only until 6pm, B with 4 per table and dining until 10pm. C tier requires their staff to be vaccinated with at least 1 dose and 6 allowed per table and can operate at 75% capacity until midnight. D tier requires all staff and customers to be vaccinated with at least 1 dose and can operate until 2am at full capacity with maximum of 12 per table. People here also take precautions very seriously. EVERYONE here will be wearing masks indoors AND outdoors at all times unless eating/drinking. Everyone here will have hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes and Sprays in their bags at all times. Hard surfaces in public areas like door and escalator handles, elevator buttons are constantly being cleaned and disinfected by cleaning crews. So far we've had single digit cases daily, all imported cases.
  11. Got my 2nd Pfizer dose yesterday. Arm is sore but bearable. Nausea kicked in last night, and brain fog was pretty bad this morning. Staring at emails and didn't understand a single thing, slowly eased away around lunch. Still kinda nauseous though.
  12. Denmark had an amazing run, they should be proud. I did think the penalty was a bit weak, oh well.
  13. Isles playing like they're the ones leading 1-0.....doesn't feel like a game 7 at all
