  1. Ownership and management don't really care for asset management.

    I thought we were looking toward the future yet we are retaining assets than can help us in the long run by moving them while risking losing those assets for nothing.

      No offense, Junkyard Dog, but the joke's on you.

      Aquilini is one of the richest businessman in Canada, with over 3 billion estimated worth of assets. He's owned the Canucks during the prosperous Canuck years and I believe he's well-aware that this current team is nothing compared to them.

      Questioning a local billionaire's ability to manage assets is laughable. The guy largely made his money through real estate.

      imo, people should have privy information on what benning has tried to do and what is out there available to him..he has said he has talked to other gm's to gauge interest....in his players and what other teams want for theirs.....maybe, no one is willing to take on vrbata's contract...we don't know that info...benning is building his team, his way...
