Uh oh.

That PK kind of killed the momentum we built. Been mostly Ducks since.

IMO we should try being a much more aggressive PK then dub it down from there if it still doesn't work. Try to find a good balance. Also need to clean up defensively in front of Demko in general. I would be harping on more forward support more overall with back checking/rush support. Defenseman need an extra safety/option up the ice and in case they misplay. We have been giving up too many grade A chances and relying on Demko a bit too much. Even Garrett and Shorthouse point it out. Love to see Demko have an easy night with a solid performance from the players offensively/defensively. It would go a long ways to proving that we are a good team having those types of wins. PP was a good sign last night because they made serious adjustments that paid off. If they can keep it up and fix the defensive side of things a bit we can string some wins together. Maybe have a solid rest of the month. -

It's too stagnant right now and is currently the worst PK in the league. I'd up the aggressiveness quite a bit, see if it works and make adjustments accordingly if necessary. Best PK involves being aggressive and picking your spots but this PK we got is way too passive. An overly passive PK can be just as bad if not worse than an aggressive PK as evident of our league worst PK. We can't really get any worse from being the worst so we have to try different things. -

Tonight was a good sign. If they can continue on that and build off it then maybe the stars can catch fire. More movement more problems for the opposing PK. Fix the PK and play in front of Demko now. Do all that and we can have a good rest of the month. -

Clean up PK and play in front of Demko and we can string some wins together. I want to see a clean game where we don't have to rely on Demko consistently making huge saves. He's deserved an easy game for saving our bacon as much as he has. It will also go a long way to put a lot of minds at ease to see those sort of wins. -

This is exactly what the PP needed. More movement, more variety. -

Yes this. This is a good sign. More body movement was needed and the result of that led to PP goals. Gotta keep at that. Puck and body movement is faster than just puck. Everyone should be used to playing in different positions on the PP. More variety and plays available when there's more movement. -

If we clean up in front of him(and on the PK) and the young stars/PP get going then we could string together some wins. He'll burn out if we have to rely on him too much and too often which means more Halak or a bad string of games from Demmer. I liked the body movement on the PP goals. It's what led to the goals. Need more of that. No more stagnant PP. -

Also keep up the body movement on the PP and there will be more open passing/shooting lanes as we saw tonight. Everyone should moving(besides bumper) and be used to being in different spots on the PP. It's how you create variety in plays and options and become less predictable. -
