Personally I would like to keep Tanev, Markstrom, Boeser and Toffoli here. Covid is making that a lot more harder to do though. I have also stated numerously that I don't think we should move someone like Boeser till Lind/Hog/Pod prove that he can be expendable. Unless JB can shed/save cap somethings gotta happen. I hope he can make something work.

It would be as much of an issue if the cap was increasing. Teams would be more willing to make those deals and it would be cheaper to do under those circumstances. Now the cap is gonna stay the same and it could stay still for a while. Trying to dump a player is gonna cost a lot more. This is why the owners might want to suck it up and have a compliance buyout. They risk losing assets otherwise.

Tierney produces in a 40-50 point rate, is good on the dot and in his own zone/PK. He is only 2 years and 93 days older than Gaud. He is a former Horvat teammate in London. He is the equivalent of a Kadri in terms of talent level which is a average 2nd C and he is an RFA at the end of the season. He is and in more likelihood will always be a better 3rd C fit than Gaud.

Perhaps. Depending on the quality of the main player coming back I would want a greater return of younger assets (picks/prospects). The worse the roster player the higher/better the picks/prospects and vice versa. Might be safer to aim for more of a better roster player deal but we potentially free up more cap if we aim for the better prospects/picks

Yeah but they might want another young asset with Boeser or even to swap 1sts. So we’d have to be fine with giving that. It might be a bit more wishful to think for that much for just Boeser. 8th can still be a top prospect and those have high value. If they were dumb/desperate enough to offer that I wouldn’t think twice about it.

He was dealing with mental health issues. He proposed to an ex-gf on social media and the twitch community, mainly the reddit thread "LivestreamFail" ridiculed and made fun of him. He committed suicide less than 48 hours after. He was one of Twitch's first big streamers and a huge figure in the World of Warcraft community. He had a big impact on a lot of the streamers in the community. The context of why he ended up doing it is disgusting and proves how awful a part of the internet/twitch community can be.

I saw him a couple years ago while I was at Republic night club during the NHL All-Star break. I was going to the bar to get a drink and there he was. He was just leaving with a girl, we had a quick chat, shook hands then he left. It was a flabbergasting experience though IDK if I should be surprised, I have heard stories about some NHLers at the Roxxy.

He desperately needs to be wifed up.
