  1. If the cap went up to 88 million maybe but I doubt it is. We’ve got to try to get rid of some of these useless guys anyway Benn, Sutter, Baer Eriksson.
  2. I humorously came up with the idea of starting a company that disinfects peoples houses that were plagued by the virus. Go in full hazmat suit and everything. People would probably start picking up what I would be selling.
  3. We gotta hope and pray that this young core, the best we've ever had, can take us there. TBH they're the biggest chance we've got unless we can pull some stellar drafting while they're here.
  4. Same sort of situation but in the summer dealing with asbestos removal. Some guys only wore masks half the time. Boss new he probably had like 5-10 years left. Probably not in as much of a enclosed environment as you however. Pretty disgusting job though. One house we did had deer $&!# everywhere and a bunch of dead mice skeletons in the oven. One time we had to remove tile and a sharp af piece was sticking out from the bag. Tore through my suit and leg, right where the calf and thigh on beside the knee meet so it kept opening constantly, leaving me with a nasty scar. Glad not to be working there anymore.
  5. I have worn hazmat suits. It’s not fun. Very sweaty.
  6. A little windy here in Maple Ridge.
  7. Wine guy? I prefer my tequila. Or what my my friends refer to some tekillya. I do like those heavy sweet red/desert wines but the hangovers are brutal.
  8. How about 2020 guys? Coronavirus and an asteroid half the size of Everest will be wizzing close to Earth next month. Good times.
  9. As I said I would have my doubts but they're just that and non-credible ones since IDK you personally. This was a more human response to what you initially stated though which eases my doubt. Being 24 I would fight and ultimately I'd survive anyway since it is only deadly toward old people and people with compromised immune systems which I am neither.
  10. I have doubts that you'd have that sort of conviction if you were on your death bed but IDK you. Could be old and have already lived the life you wanted. If you were young and have so much life to live I would think you're coo coo for COVID-19. No offense. We're in for a long and boring month at the least.
  11. Not sure stating that swing the right way with people who're affected by this one way or another. Also I wouldn't jinx yourself. Rudy Gobert jokingly did and he got the NBA suspended.
  12. Anyone want to play hocke..... Or go to the movi.... How about going out drinking to a ba.... Weathers been nice...
  13. Bread you make is great but goes bad quickly. eat it up.
  14. Also most improved player wouldn’t be a bad one even though it is a basketball one.
  15. There should be another award called best newcomer.
  16. They aren't reinventing the wheel. This issue calls for unconventional thinking since this is an unconventional problem. The kicker that goes against what you say would be the games played. Teams that would be out could argue that had everyone played as many games that they could be in. Example being if team A lost their 2 games in hand of team B, team B would be in. It would be a very valid point. Having the teams fighting for it literately fight for it would be a fairer option and entertaining. Who knows if it happens though, it could just end the season for sure. Hard to predict. Like I said though I would rather see a delay if at all possible.
  17. League should "end" the season and base Divisional spots based off of points percentage. Afterwords have 4 of the highest teams outside the division in each conference compete for the last two wildcard spot in an win and you're in situation. Teams within the division would be safe and get a by. Would screw over a few teams though. I'd rather just see a delay personally. Would give Marky the time he needs.
  18. Sometimes I go off on rants and can't help myself. Didn't feel any negativity toward you at all. I like making dialogue and having civil debates. Mainly because when you don't have experience to learn and grow as a person than perspective is the next best thing.
  19. As big as 2008 was personally I don't think it has the potential of a pandemic-like event in terms of how much of negativity it can create for the world. It wouldn't be a single event that abruptly happens and changes everything awfully but instead be an event that slowly and continuously gets worse and worse, like a sickness. Another not so fun fact that in 9/11 a lot of people made money from that tragic incident with the World Trades Towers falling. Some of which donated back to support those involved. When I was in high school my math teacher and his friend were two of those people. It made me do more research and learn about more stories that did as well. I thought it was seeing light in such a dark event. In terms of who's in on it, the peoples/groups would be very limited. A pandemic affects a lot more people/groups in a lot more ways. Not many groups that wouldn't take a huge negative impact to such an event. The world has its brightest minds at work. Way to early for this type of speculation though. There is only like 48,000 infected people right now, 68,000 out of the 126,000 have made a recovery. It would need to infect millions of people before it could potentially have an impact close to 2008 and that's if the people in power don't get control. At that point we could see thousands of airports, businesses, borders, schools, etc shut down. Globally we could resolve it before it can get that sort of seriousness. I think the biggest concern is stopping the spread and creating a vaccine. The more people infected the faster it spreads. Dense populated and poor countries have more of a risk. If hundreds of thousands of people become infected there's a possibility that it wouldn't be long for millions to be. Second concern would be that it doesn't mutate and become more deadly before we can vaccinate it but I feel that's on the lower side of probability. It isn't a deadly illness but the more people infected the more people will die, the more businesses/economies suffer, the more panic ensues, the more the world would have to be at pause/suspended, etc. I enjoy these talks too and speculated on what potentially could be. I don't like to rule out the possibility but stray toward the probability. My mother thinks that someone created it too with the intent of making billions so you're not alone.
  20. They'd have to be crazy amounts of smart and careful. You're aren't just messing with a few people but the entire world. The people they're messing with are not all stupid either. All it would take is one guy/group among everyone to decide to act radically with the money and power they have to destroy your life in order to get payback. Like we've discussed though you'd have to be caught. A dangerous scenario not just for the person but anyone associated with them. It would be the most grandest risk/reward move in the history of this world. Like playing cards with the devil betting with the lives of you and the people you care about for billions. Not sure i'd play at that table.
