  1. It’s fine. I wasn’t very elaborate with that statement.
  2. Yeah he’s gonna be a significant acquisition to whoever acquires him.
  3. 4 year window. Pretty much when the core dissolves I reckon would be their mindset.
  4. If they somehow pulled Compher I would be very happy. It would almost allow us to have another 2nd line if one of Pod/Hog stepped up(as I think a winger would be moved).
  5. A PP with Kuz-Miller-Petey Karlsson-Hughes does sound pretty fire. It seems more of a pipe dream though.
  6. Great goalie on a great defensive team. Like PB and J.
  7. I wasn’t saying he was inflated per say but rather in the best circumstances to succeed. Islanders are a great defensive team with a great goalie. They sacrificed offensive though to get to that point hence additions like Horvat and I believe they may be looking for another offensive player.
  8. It helps having a really solid defensively structured team.
  9. They get the golden ticket if they manage to pull a top 4 D out of their arse on top of a solid a 3rd C who can step into 2nd C when injuries hit. D-depth would be undeniably good on the roster. Top 4 goes down Soucy is better suited for stepping in than a youngster. My ideal free agency was 2 roster Cs and Ds. They got 3/4 so far.
  10. Yeah the more we bolster the bottom 6 the better. If you’re not prepared for injuries in the playoffs you it can cost you as it ended up doing so with the Panthers. Fischer is a guy I like too. He had the best PK stats out of all Yotes. They were scored on more when he wasn’t on the PK. Our D-core only needs a solid top 4 RD(Hughes partner) and I would call it a playoff worthy D-core for the season.
  11. The next addition should be a 3rd C that is capable of stepping into a 2nd line role in case of injuries. Blueger is IMO a cup contending 4th C who can step into a 3rd C role in case of injuries. The road to the cup is paved with broken down rosters. The Florida panthers were not prepared that. We must be.
  12. My ideal free agency was 2 roster Cs and 2 roster Ds. So far 3/4. The 1-3 year terms I liked are there. Soucy was a little outside my 3M max but that’s not enough to deter me from the signing. Any significant additions that fit in well with the cap after that 4/4 then it becomes a good free agency for me.
  13. Can’t rule out a winger trade as well. Though it may seem unlikely it is never a closed door. I reckon if Myers is moved they may want a bigger acquisition too.
  14. If we manage to pull another solid C that’s good enough to push Bleuger down the to 4th line than I like our C depth next year.
  15. 4.5M is a pretty fair cap hit. Probably was looking for more term here.
  16. I like Blueger but if we can add a stronger C and move him down to the 4th C I would be down for it. It would make us much stronger for the playoff push. C and D depth is important.
  17. It’s not really points. It’s more career usage. if his career minutes are 16:17 a game, which were also his last season. He was 6th in ice-time for defenseman on the Kraken in the past 2 seasons. That should tell you that this guy has mainly ever been a top 6 defenseman. My range I would have signed him at was 2.5-3M at 2-3 years so it’s not really too far off from what I wanted.
  18. This guy was utilized as a #4 D last year on a good TBL team. I am hoping he can replicate that for a season.
  19. Good solid 3rd pair D. a tiny bit more pricey in terms of cap hit but the term itself is on point.
  20. Never really proved 4B with the ice times or usuage at any real point. 16:18 last season which was pretty much on par with his career average. That’s 3rd pair minutes. Maybe on a worst team he can climb up a lineup but he’s better suited for 3rd pair role.
  21. Good term but a bit more pricey cap hit for a 3rd pair D.
