  1. I disagree about personality does not change as much past 18 and early 20s. I would argur quite the opposite actually. Without going into full depth it does seem like Jake is still kind of a teenager so the case might apply to him. My point was off topic basically implying that not everyone is the same. I myself am a different person than I was a couple years ago.
  2. Pizza sub on Herb an Cheese, any cheese, bacon and extra cheese, Onions, Olives, Green Peppers, Jalapenos(optional), THEN TOASTED(Important), tomatoes, a tiny bit of lettuce and spinach, pickles(If you're feeling adventurous), Salt and Pepper, Parmesan cheese and a tiny bit of light mayo. You're all welcome.
  3. Yeah Granny has been playing well. Underrated playmaking ability. Has the potential to be a versatile and reliable middle 6 winger for us. Higgins-level of player. If only he could improve on the dot. He could become a very good 3rd C if he did.
  4. I know. I was just pointing out that fact. Weight could be a variable in his struggles but I wouldn't consider it a major one. I feel Hutton might not be ready to handle top 4 duties quite yet. We've relied on him a lot, perhaps a bit too much. Injuries have kind of forced are hand in that regard though. I see Hutton as more of a, potential, Jake Gardiner type/level of player, which isn't bad. Only problem I could see moving forward is when Juolevi is ready and Brisebois(If he pans out) down the road. We have a lot of depth at LD. Not everyone will pan out but it's a nice problem to have down the road.
  5. Good. Let him have reins there. Bachman can be backup when he gets healthy. Hopefully Thatcher the Snatcher can keep it up. Maybe Utica gets another Calder Cup run within the next few years
  6. And Godbranson said, "Let there be fights," and there was a fight.

    All hail our saviour
  8. Probably put Granny at C and slot Rodin and Eriksson as his wingers.
  9. I always thought he was going to be a project prospect when he was drafted so when we rushed him it kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Personally I will give out an evaluation/judgement on Jake 2-3 years from now. Right now it is too early for me to give out a blunt opinion at least.
  10. Stars Wars KOTOR. Made by Bioware also. Main campaign isn't as long as some of the other games you mentioned but still a great experience and must play for people that like story-driven games. It has a Light/Dark side element too so a 2nd play through could be different if you decided to take different moral actions. Better than prequel movies.
  11. I'd rather keep Gudbranson. Fits our age group and brings desirable traits to this team moving forward. I don't think he'll be getting 5M+. If we should trade any defenseman it should be Tanev since he'd get a lot more. A lot might be an understatement actually, a $&!# ton I should say. His NTC kicks in next season so this season is the best time to trade him. We'd get a lot more than a young C prospect and a pick that's for sure.
  12. He almost got the OT winner. Would of been a sick move.
  13. Goldberg beating Brock that easily will probably set up a future match. Happy with the result. I feel that this match was rushed but to end it like that makes a lot of sense.
  14. He isn't like Maata. Maata isn't as good of a playmaker, skater or as smooth. Juolevi has more offensive upside. Somewhere along a mix of OEL/Vlasic is where I would put in terms of his his play style.
  15. Good night on the face-off dot(63%). Hopefully he can keep that up. Had a bad giveaway that led to a goal but made up for it with his own He is now tied for 2nd in goal scoring on the team which is good for him but not necessarily for the team. Still wish he'd be getting more defensive zone starts though.
  16. I feel that Granlund's ceiling would be that of a Chris Higgins level of player, which is a reliable middle 6 forward. So far Granlund has been the unsung young gun.
  17. Really impressed with Granlund's overall play this season. IMO he's been one of our best defensive forwards, if not the best. Wish he'd get more defensive starts than offensive. He has some offensive talent and has more success on the fore-check than most people his size but he defensive play is what makes him stand out to me. If he could improve on the dot he could be a pretty good 3rd C for us in the future, if not then maybe a dependable middle 6 winger.
  18. I think this is good for Brock. If teams are playing tight on him then, like you said, he will have to learn to fight through it more often. I feel that having to go through that part of the game will benefit his development going forward. He is no longer one of the guys but now "the guy".
