  1. Aye, it was. I remember binge watching it up until season 5. I was too afraid and sad to watch the last season. I waited months watching other shows before I decided I was ready.
  2. Vikings is just as good as GoT IMO. Only difference is that there's more lore in GoT/ASOI&F albeit fictional. Great characters, great story, acting has been good most of the time but there will be some scenes that will be iffy. Marco Polo is really good too. Really suspenseful and the characters you get attached to. 2nd season just came out too and it was REAL good. This show is really starting to grow on me, I was real skeptical at first. So is The Last Kingdom. I am still desperately waiting for the 2nd season. It is like Vikings but more refined. All these shows are for Mature Audiences. Lots of blood gore and what not. I like fantasy/medieval/etc shows so they all interest me. If mature things displease you then you probably shouldn't be in this thread. If you're for some reason then okay, a show for you would be Merlin. Good show for almost any age.
  3. Makes sense considering Sergachev can play the right side and they already have Klefbom and Nurse on the left.
  4. Wouldn't actually be uncommon for Targaryens to do such a thing. Daenerys's, and also Rhaegar and Viserys(her brothers), father and mother were brother and sister. They were all the product of incest which isn't uncommon for Targaryens. Also marrying between 1st cousins is not considered incest in Westeros. Tywin Lannister married his 1st cousin and they had 3 kids(Tyrion Jamie and Cersei). Should be interesting when Jon and Daenerys first meet and how they will react to one another when they realize that they share the same blood. Daenerys is also Jon's aunt but Jon is about a year older than her in the books.
  5. Correct. Being the son to Lyanna he couldn't have a claim to Winterfell as Ned had the rightful claim there. Even Sansa and Arya have more of a claim then he does.
  6. Yes. Rhaegar + Lyanna = Jon. R+L=J. Been a fan theory before the show when it was only the books so there has been a significant amount of suspense for quite some time. It means Jon is half Stark and half Targaryen which is changes the "Game of Thrones" per say. That would mean that Daenerys is his aunt and Sansa, Arya and Bran are his cousins. It means he has a greater claim to the Iron Throne than Daenerys, being the son of the Rhaegar who was the Mad King's oldest son and the true heir to the throne before Robert's Rebellion. The book series is called a song of ice and fire. Jon might be the personification of that with the Starks representing wolves, the north and ice and with the Targaryens represent dragons, the south and fire. That's how I think of it anyways
  7. Damn so much happened this episode. So much death... Aye major spoiler.
  8. Juolevi split PP time with Mete. He got a lot of his points either on then PP QBing it or in transition with good breakout passes. London didnt use Juolevi as much as other D in the draft during the regular season. London was deep in all positions, including defense. Run all 4 lines and D. I bet that is a reason why his point totals were not high during the regular season. They did however use Juolevi a lot during the playoffs, same with the big 1st line. It was a reason why they dominated throughout the playoffs and finals. They used him a lot in the WJC too. He played like 30 minutes vs Canada. His point totals did increase by a bunch during playoffs, Finals and WJC. I remember the game against Brandon and he was a force in all 3 ends. Out performed Provorov by a great amount. 2 assists off the transition and one on the PP. London has some damn fine coaches.
  9. Juolevi's play style definitely fits in the new NHL. High IQ topped with high skill is highly coveted throughout the league. I liked a lot of D in this draft for a lot of reasons but Juolevi I always thought as a sure fire NHL top 4 defenseman.
  10. I think Juolevi will be a top 4 defenseman. The question will be can he be a #1? Sergachev could be a stud or dud IMO. High upside and high offensive skill. Good pick for MTL.
  11. Juolevi isn't as flashy but he is much more of a composed player. Calm cool and collected. Safer and better pick IMO. He is the smartest defenseman in the draft IMO.
  12. High IQ. Great smarts and skill. JB was really high on him. Compared some of his qualities to Lidstrom
  13. One of his strong suits actually. JB compared some of his qualities to Lidstrom.
  14. Siakam video breakdown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3pUfCg7mVc
  15. Well everybody with a pick passed him up until 28th.
  16. Poeltl's. . . Strengths https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-Ah2ayKG6w Weaknesses https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5X29jnIEmCg
  17. Reigns leaving is almost bigger news than the bootyful Sasha returning for me.
  18. Still defended the Wall against the Wildlings, against odds greater than the battle of Winterfell. Also was able to save many Wildlings from Hardhome, against the dead and the Nights King. Also got revenge for his former Lord Commander and was named Lord Commander as well. I don't think you are getting what the show is trying tell you in regards of Jon.
  19. Aye And the book series is called A Song of Ice and Fire. If R+L=J then Jon would be the epitome of that, in theory. I also think Jon could care less about the Iron Throne.
  20. As I said previously Jon cares for his family. Did so with Benjen, Rob and Rickon. Sansa never told Jon because she didn't want Little Fingers help because he gave her to Ramsay. She let her emotions toward Little finger speak for her and it was costly. It wasn't because she knew Jon would do something stupid. She said it herself she knew nothing of war. Yeah Jon &^@#ed up and let his emotions toward his family get the best of him but Sansa did as well for her own self pride. The outcome would of been much more different and many of lives would of been spared if she had accepted Little fingers help in the first place and let Jon know. Sansa tried to tell Jon that he didn't have enough men when she knew she could of had enough men had she accepted Little fingers help. She &^@#ed up just as bad, if not worse IMO. That is crucial info as Ramsay had twice as many men. Sansa isn't taking the lead role. A real leader wouldn't let hundreds of men following her and her brother die because of her emotions toward another. Sansa if anything has become more darker and less trustworthy, toward even her own blood, which are not qualities of a leader.
  21. Jon dying from his own men for trying to do things differently from the old ways is far from weak. His willingness for change and ability to make decisions that are unpopular but right makes him look strong IMO. Those men that killed him feared that change and were not strong enough to make those tough and hard decisions that Jon has had to do. Sansa also decided not to tell Jon that the frays and little finger were willing to help in spite of little finger. She let her own emotions get the best of her and it almost lead to the death of Jon and his entire army. I am sure many more lives on Jon's side would of lived had she let Little Finger help and let Jon know. I am curious of how she explains that to Jon next episode.
