  1. If you look up the term "hung out to dry" in the hockey dictionary you'll see a video example of Demko getting injured after try to stop 4 Panthers from scoring on back to back to back to back scoring chances while pylons, I mean teammates, stand around with sticks up their asses. That was the worst first period all year. Panthers kept getting scoring chance after scoring chance. There was no effort to stem the tide. How can any goalie find a rhythm when the team infront is so lackluster defensively and consistency wise. 18 shots in the first period against are pretty much all of them looked liked scoring chances. Panther's could have easily scored 6+ in the first. Our defense quite literally broke our goalie.
  2. After so much optimism with their 3 game winning streak they follow that up with some of the most sloppiest defensive and stale offensive performances out the the last 2 games. Giving up 10 goals against and only scoring 2 goals for.
  3. That's the last team anyone probably wants him considering the talent they have upfront. They've drafted a lot of D in the first two rounds the last few years. Have a couple Gs that were drafted in the 3rd round(one from trade with Pittsburgh) too developing. They'll take a little longer but they have a good route to creating a contender. Probably not right away but watch out in 2-3 years after this draft.
  4. Canuck luck would have him land with the Ducks or Sharks. Then another top 3 going to the Ducks/Sharks.
  5. That game never saw more than a 2 goal lead. Besides the first goal which LA scored, Kraken would gain a lead then Kings would come back.
  6. On a side note this wasn't a game we wanted to see as Canucks fans go to OT. As hockey fans this is kind of a spectacle.
  7. I'd say around 15M minimum at this rate. We all saw Kuzzy's agent drool on twitter today. He isn't a player who's had real NHL money before. It kind of makes him a little more unpredictable to consider. You lose a lot of players just to keep players on the roster. You're not left with much to help replace all the players you're losing(two 2nd line wingers, a top 9 winger and 2nd pair RD). Some of those players you mentioned in trades are probably gonna cost us to move since no team looking at are situation with the cap is gonna do us any favours. The ones with value(Boeser/Garland) we may have to giveaway for cheap like you see teams do who're up against the cap. It isn't a pretty situation to figure out to say the least.
  8. Might have to make uncomfortable trades to make that happen and to try to keep Horvat if you think that as well. Bear, Hog, Dermott all RFAs. Schenn, Horvat, Kuzmenko, Burroughs all UFAs. 11.8M in cap next year We have potentially 2,082,500M in cap bonuses that will count towards the cap next year so are actual cap hit could be under 10M. It won't be a pretty situation to figure out.
  9. He's also never seen a big payday like the potential one he's gonna get with also being his last chance at a big payday. This is also the tweet his agent made after he scored the OT winner. There's teams with more Russians and prominent ones than Mikheyev. Not sure that'll be as big as a factor as money.
  10. 10M+ too. Gonna be hard to keep everybody. I mean you can't so tough decisions ahead.
  11. Probably need more than Boeser money if he can keep it up. He's a UFA and a 27 year old one too. Teams will jack up the price.
  12. What If I accidently watch games while on Vacation? I guess nobody would be able to hunt me down If I cost us a major win.
  13. No he's just on fire on the ice and it's translating to off of it.
