    Damn hooligan!! On a side note if Vlasic was still in his prime it wouldn’t be a bad thought if there was retention. Vlasic was like a much better Tanev in his prime. One of the few Sharks I liked as a player.

    Worked with the Lowry’s. Adam doesn’t seem like the type of person to take exceptions, it was never the type of player he was. We bring back Schenn then Cal has a good role model as well. Schenn has someone he can pass the torch to.

    I think a better target would be for him to become a Schenn type that can staple the 3rd pair RD spot for years.

    He is 36 years old and has a 7M cap hit for 3 more years. His best years are behind him. His ice time has dropped to that of a 3rd pair D.

    Our following two picks were also D in the 3rd round. Brzustewicz and Mynio look pretty good. People have called Brzustenwicz a player who had lay 1st/early 2nd talent and Mynio a Slavin/Tanev clone.

    I like his toolset. If he pans out a Tanev/Slavin type would look good on our D-core. Potentially with Hronek.

    Seems like a two way D with more on the offensive. Already has a good base offensively and needs to work on the D side a bit but has the smarts. Looks like he has top 4 upside. Another RD.

    Brother of the potential 1st overall pick next year. A part of a sports oriented family that has had ties to the Canucks. Will be teammates with Willinder next year.

    One of the first things he said was that he was very driven in wanting to make sure that picking him ends up being a great decision for the Canucks. He is also taking the NCAA route and their coach already is looking forward to working with him.
