  1. That wouldn't be so bad. The best thing for Kass right now would be for him to be sent to the minors. That would be a wake up call; no more gifting him an NHL spot. Kass needs ++++ ice time in a lesser league to work on his game and build his confidence.
  2. Lots of people are dissapointed in Kass, with good reason. That said, it is not time to give up on the kid. I really think he should be sent down to Utica for development. Playing him 4th line minutes is not going to improve his game. Let's see what he can do after a season of playing top minutes for the Comets. Due to the Hodgson trade, Zack is staying with the team when he should be sent down. MG needs to swallow his pride and let him go.
  3. I believe Kass plays on the 4th line against much less skilled players. Hansen, Higgins, Kes and Burr have been playing in the top 6. As for Booth...always go with the hot hand.
  4. :frantic: YES! We wanna be just like Edmonton! They got all the #1s!!! Let's start our 8yr rebuild NOW! Let's tank and wear paper bags over our heads!
  5. Chauncy is brooding over a misunderstood tweet K-Con made to his very good friend Lack regarding Lack's new contract. Can't be easy going through that life being sooooo sensitive.
  6. He also looks like a guy that steps up his game in the playoffs
  7. Gaunce is going to be the 3C everyone's been screaming for in the past few years. A defensive grinder with great hockey sense that can score some goals. Torts is going to love this hard working kid and will develop him into a player that can compete against teams like LA, SJ and Bos.
  8. Burr is an important player on this team; not only as very flexible player, but also as a significant member of the core. He can play almost any position, score goals, backcheck/forecheck with the best and is awesome on the PK. Anyone who has had a broken ankle knows that there is a lot of atrophy after the cast comes off. He is starting to get his game back and made some good plays last night. Although he won't get the points he does with the Sedins, he still has massive hockey sense and will start potting a few goals soon. Besides, the guy is truly a fan favourite.
  9. 14 pts in only 9 games. They'll be in the top 5 by this time next week.
  10. This could end up being a very good trade for NYI. Vanek will score way more goals than Moulson with Taveres feeding him. He's an incredible sniper and will send the Islanders over the top. I am really impressed with their team and think they might make some noise in the palyoffs. Sure, Vanek might not stay on, but the same could be said about Moulson with Buf. I think if NYI do well in the POs, Vanek would have no reason not to sign. He hasn't had a centerman of Taveres' calibre ever. The first will be mid pick and the second may not be much of anything. I'd rather have one of the best snipers in the game.
  11. I've never heard anyone compare Domi to Toews. In fact, if you go to the Knights' forum at HFBoards, the fan comments indicate they think he's a dirty player. He's also described as being a "selfish" player. Neither of those descriptions fit the Toews comparison. Overall, most fans rave about Horvat, but don't have much good to say about Domi.
  12. True enough, but the Wolves were left in charge of developing the Nucks prospects. I think you may be right about it being too late for Rodin. Really a shame because I think he may have the talent, but he is probably ambivalent about NA hockey. If he does decide to return, I believe he has to report to the Canucks.
  13. I tend to agree with you. I do wonder about his development though. I can't help but think that the Canucks failed to develop him properly. Makes me wonder how he would have faired in the Redwings organization.
  14. Quit trolling ES. Go back to HF Boards; they still have a tolerance for your silliness.
  15. Nor do they think it will take 3yrs.
  16. Gaunce named captain and got 2 assists in his first game with the Bulls. Reading the (HF) Bellevile brd and the word is that he will probably be traded at some point, possibly to London. That would be awesome to have Horvat, Subban and Gaunce on the same Jr team. The team that will probably win it all this year.
  17. I think he is waiver eligible. He is 22yrs old and has surpassed the 70 game mark (after 20yrs old, AHL games are counted). He's already played in 31nhl games and well over 100 ahl games since 20yrs. If this information is correct, I think JS makes the team. He would be snatched up off the waiver wire and is not of much value to be traded. I think the management give him lots of opportunity to have success and develop before even thinking about letting him go. If anyone can verify this info, pls do.
  18. He's got a great looking future. Big guy with fantastic hockey sense. The skating will improve, as will his physical game. I think he is closer than anticipated. Another year in jr and he will good to go for next season. He's the 3rd line C we've been screaming for since Maholtra went down. I can also see him moving up to 2nd line W when needed.
  19. The more playoff games, the more money for the owner. End of story. The rest of the idiots that want to let the Sedins walk -you make me sick. You have the attention span of a gnat. "What have they done from me lately"? Typical.
  20. ^That's interesting info, Das. I'm really cheering for Schroeder. The best thing for the Nucks is if Schroeder is good enough to make the team this year. Whether it be as W or C, I really don't care. Otherwise, he gets taken in waivers or traded for a pittance and that would be yet another 1st round pick going elsewhere.
  21. Wow! That's an awful lot of people walking around with 'broken wills'. How does B.C. function?
