  1. Serial killing typically has a high degree of premeditation. These guys fit the bill of spree killers. Multiple, likely unplanned killings. They probably had no intention of killing anyone but likely shot the first victim in a botched robbery attempt and it was all downhill from there.
  2. Just stop using straws altogether. They are unnecessary for a normal functioning adult above the age of 4 or 5. Put lips to edge of cup, tilt head and cup back at the same time and enjoy your beverage of choice.
  3. The problem is that you are equating his paycheque with his perceived lack of effort. If he was truly lazy, the coach would bench him immediately regardless of salary.
  4. Correct. 7/15/2019 = 7+15+(2+0+1+9) = 34 Conveniently not adding the 1,5 but adding the 2,0,1,9?
  5. Horton and Clarkson contracts are passed around like the village bike. I can't believe the league allows this garbage.
  6. These guys appear to be about as sharp as a marble so if they've already made some rookie mistakes, it's more than likely all the cops need is to get them into custody and they'll fold like a cheap tent.
  7. Probably, or maybe even their own!
  8. How is 25 years considered 'life'? Life in prison should mean you are there until you expire.
  9. Thought the same thing too. It's the most logical conclusion when you have a burned out truck and 2km away a burned up body.
  10. From a sketch, there looks like some similarities. The crimes committed fit the bill too.
  11. No killers in the cities though.
  12. That's the Highway of Tears. I grew up in Kitimat and we heard about missing women all the time throughout my childhood. These recent strings of murders are further north and to the east.
  13. TBH, I don't really care that much about the team's salary structure down the road. Teams find a way to keep their players under contract. Canucks will be able to do the same.
  14. Unless he totally flames out, the club will re-sign him. You are going to see more and more players have their contracts expire before a team can/will trade them - like what happened with Hutton.
  15. It's somewhat frightening. I have a tentatively planned road trip with the wife and two little kids from here to Vancouver and likely up to the North Coast. I've driven some of the highways in BC hundreds of time.
  16. Remember the golden rule: other teams prospects > Canucks prospects.
  17. The hundreds of millions of dollars in street value is staggering. So they caught this one....how many others make it through with that amount of drugs aboard?
  18. I know what it means. As in how can someone be so short sighted to think that the plan hasn't changed many times since the day Benning started.
  19. I agree. I was referring to the Avalanche heading into this season with high expectations and a really young team surrounded by a bunch of no-names to fill out the roster.
  20. In 2016-17, the Oilers went to the 2nd round of the playoffs lead by superstar McDavid and what was considered an up and coming team. We all know what happened the next two years. It's easy to predict success on paper. Remember Colorado almost didn't make the playoffs last season. They have a young exciting team, but with that comes unpredictability.
  21. Who could be that myopic though? The fact that Linden got canned shows the plan changed.
