"teams like Chicago"...?? That sounds like a shot fired v Jonny Towes for a quote from years gone by... It's not like we have a whole lot to brag about. But seriously, I agree, any team must win the games they're supposed to win and their share of the games against better teams. Case in point, Calgary lost v Chicago and their next game was a victory against the team they were chasing, Winnipeg. The result? They're still out of the playoffs and behind the 8-ball with respect to the team their chasing. A win vs Chi-town and they're in the drivers seat. Couldn't happen to a nicer rival.

[Signing] Canucks sign Nikita Tolopilo

Silovs: 5 games, 2.75 gaa, 0.908 s% Martin: 29 games, 3.99 gaa, 0.871 s% Delia: 17 games, 3.26 gaa, 0.883 s% Silovs had a few games in the NHL and looked like the real deal. His stats were way better than Martin and Delia over only 5 games. He's the #1 in Abby with 41 games this season, 2.41 gaa, 0.907 s%. Martin started out fine after Demko was injured but after a few games, he could not sustain his good play. He is signed for next year. In Abby, 13 games, 2.68 gaa, 0.907 s% Delia is a UFA, 28 years old and will be 29 before next season and showed that he could not hang in the NHL. In Abby, 9 games, 3.39, 0.888 s% Delia looks like he's headed for free agency. I'm not sure whether they like Silovs or Martin backing up Demko or whether they bring in a veteran. Silovs needs to play and Martin comes in at less than $1M -
A season ticket holder's letter to Jim Rutherford
Crabcakes replied to fanfor42's topic in Canucks Talk
That's quite the letter. A couple of things are offensive (have you?, GTFO) but it gets the point across
