the biggest thing is coach green did give loui the chance to be in the top six and so did wille d , the loui thing has been going on for 3 years now , if loui played better there wouldn't be a discussion , and with the new comers there isn't room for loui in the top 6 anymore , we got loui for scoring right ? he has scored 30 goals in 3 seasons combined , that's on the player , not the coach

15 goals and 10 assists jake could do a lot better , stop being greens doghouse play a lil harder on the puck , be more consistent and besides that ,how is 15 goals nearly 20 goals anyways , projecting and actually scoring goals is 2 different things

he is just mad because he knows he is wrong travis greens first year the canucks went thru 35 players thru out the season plus 3 goalies , last year we went thru 45 players and used five goalies , and every year we added 3 to 5 new players to the roster and this year we added 4 quality nhlers to the lineup .. we finally have some quality pieces to be successful , and coach green will deploy them properly , and have them play well together ps now if jb can find one more scoring winger and a depth dman i think we will be set or we wait for the Russian invasion of podi and trymakin

so your gonna use a nhl rookie as an example ? lol he led the team in points , got smashed to the ice had a leg injury and your worried that played a lil tired at the end of his first season , petey is just learning the game , coach green kept them together that's what you do show a player how to work thru his so called slump , the coaches game of chess , you need the pieces to play that game , and the canucks didn't have the all the pieces . think of all the player turnover the canucks have had in the last 2 years and the amount of injuries added on that's all green did all season was juggle lines and d pairs I think we had 1 game last year that the team had a full roster .,

no I didn't miss the point , green has been deploying his players properly you clearly missed my point , Horvat is a 2 way player which means as you stated both good on offensive as well as defense , if it stays the same point wise in either role , what is the difference ? none so what is the point then ? we don't have a offensive 2 nd line center , so what are coaches green's options then? come on tell us , well I guess that would be Horvat then right? so since you didn't get my point about Eriksson , explain why coach green should give the ice time you think Eriksson deserves? do you just hand him the ice time and go hey young guys look at loui float around, do lil things and ill give u top six minutes ? is that the culture you want as a coach ? Eriksson has had plenty of opportunities to show what he can do in top 6 minutes and has done nothing . the on ice product is suffering pfft again you didn't read my post. last year we went into the season having both our top 2 scorers retire , injuries to key players thru out the season and we still maintained the point total from the year before , injuries , what happens when injuries occur to key players ? a coach will have to deploy a player in position in a lineup , that a player may have play to left side when ideally he should be on the right, the coach may not have other options that are ideal , a coach has only so many pieces of the puzzle to deal with ,and when a piece isn't there due to a injury, you work with what you have available ., the canuck now play a more aggressive style of hockey , it way more fun to watch and who dictates that style , the coach

the real reason why were aren't producing players ,hockey is expensive , equipment , fees ice time extra coaching camps tournaments it cost one parent I know almost 10 grand a year for a 10 year old to play and the cost goes up each year the higher level you play , so that limits a number of players that Canada produces
