A couple of big winners today that have been mentioned by others before.... BFT and ACAM. Weird finally earning enough money to actually care about taxes, lol. -
After watching Virtanen in OT..... never put him out for 3-on-3 again. Looks lost in the defensive zone. I can forgive him about to the leave the zone with the puck behind him, since it was just a miscommunication.... but before that, he just dumped the puck when he didn't have a play. OT is all about possession and he just gave the puck away freely.

He has good AHL numbers. Any particular reason he is unable to translate to the NHL? Injuries? No single exceptional physical ability? Poor hockey IQ?

The lack of real training camp and pre-season games probably hindered the chemistry building.

It's one of my largest position. Got into the warrants at like $1.35~. Just reading the posts on Reddit about CCIV.... some people are seriously hardcore. Tracking down Lucid's supposed private jet and with a telescope lens nearby the airport to take picture of the passengers to try to find some info about who's who, etc. -

Anyone here actually day trade as a livelihood? I (now with recent trades these last few months) have a decent size for trading. Now really expecting to be driving a Ferrari, buying a beach house in Hawaii or have a personal jet... just rather be working for myself instead of being a "wage slave". -
Exactly. You don't even need to go too extreme or high-tech to protect your password. Just write it down on a piece of paper, laminate it and put that piece of a paper in a bank vault... maybe put it at 2 separate bank vaults. They're like $5-10 per month... I think the guy has enough money for that.

The economist Martin Armstrong. https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/ I can't really describe it well.... just lots of research for past historical trends, technical analysis, social/economic/political changes, etc. He is a guest on Michael Campbell's Moneytalks every once in a while. Not sure if it's really an accurate guide for what's to come, or just a chart of confirmation biases... but it's does give some food for thought. -

No doubt the powers that be will be using the metaphorical printing press for as long as they can. No POTUS will want to be at the helm of a major recession/depression. Xinnie the Pooh will be spending as much as possible to maintain power. Whether it will follow this chart... it does make you think... -

Another golden pick by AriGold.... If someone got in at $1.... you'd be up ~40% right now. -

I've read that about 2/3 of SPAC fails... but that's just what I've read floating around on Reddit. Not sure if it included random small SPAC no one has ever heard of or how it's counted. But assuming you're just focusing on the warrants that are backed by experienced teams and by large corporations, it should be much safer. I guess it is theoretically possible for warrants to drop if stock prices goes up, but it has to be very specific circumstances. Examples would be: - The management team/voters forcing warrants to be cashed out at a low price - Warrants expiring very soon and it's not meeting strike price It's more likely for stock prices to go down and warrants going up as there may be arbitrage opportunities. The problem with warrants for SPAC (or in general) is that it's pretty much all or nothing. I would be lying if I say I've never been burned by warrants before. If you find newly split warrants for under $2, it's not a bad idea to throw some "gambling" money on it. -

For PDAC, it's about $11... so only $1 more than NAV. It hasn't taken off yet. If you really want to chance it... you can always play the warrants. But should the company just decide to walk away, you get nothing for the warrants whereas for the commons you still get back 10 bucks. For IPOF... lots of hype, but the guy involved has had a few SPAC that has turned out well. SPCE and OPEN are now both over $25. Assuming IPOF follows the same trend, even entering at $14 will be okay. Of course, with all SPAC, it can always fall through, so you could easily lose a third of your investment. A lot depends on if you're just hoping to sell on the news or if you're hoping to hold as long as possible to maximize value (whatever/whenever that may be). Warrants are cheaper and has more room for massive gains... but risky. -

You can read up the SPAC sub-reddit. Being Reddit... just be very careful as there are lots of pumpers/dumpers, trolls, etc. But it's still a good place for info... kinda like Wikipedia, best to verify yourself if the stuff posted there is legit or not. Stocktwits is similar, but like Twitter.... faster and less detailed. Still gotta do your DD there too. -
Evander Kane files for Bankruptcy

Getting off-topic, but.... Companies he owned as went bankrupt or companies that he has licensed his name to has went bankrupt. But he himself has never declared bankruptcy. Much like the local Trump Tower in Vancouver.... the company that licensed his name went under. Either than Trump cashing in the cheque that company wrote to him, he has nothing to do with the company. Much like if you own a business and it's going under, so you just declare the business bankrupt and just more or less move on It doesn't automatically mean the bank will be chasing you down, taking all your personal belongings and you'll be forced to live under a bridge (depend on the type of liability though). -

I know his family is living with him.... and that he's an adult... but at what point should his parents actually step in and go, "Son.... stop buying all this crap and save up some money!"? Or maybe his grandma going, "You'd better return that gold watch or I'm gonna break my foot on your a**!" Sometimes agents should start getting into the financial management business too. Not just getting their clients the best contract possible, but tie it up that if you want to be a client of his firm, you must have portions of your earnings to be delegate to a certified financial planner, etc. -
