  1. Although we had Niskanen retire, the New York Rangers are still in a bit of a cap crunch. As @CDCFL Insider mentioned, we have not yet come to terms with RFA Charlie McAvoy. In addition, we have Calle Jarnkrok available for trade. @Nail - for sheet clean-up, please assign Maxim Letunov to the AHL.
  2. Pretty close aside from my AJHL guys who I am happy to have picked early anyway.
  3. Do we have a buyout period @thejazz97? Sorry if I missed the dates on it.
  4. VGK terminate the contract of Markus Granlund as he has signed in the KHL. @thejazz97 https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/19426/markus-granlund
  5. Retirement: The New York Rangers wish Matt Niskanen all the best in retirement and thank him for making my cap situation a little easier for his time in the NHL. https://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/2035143 @Nail
  6. Vegas Golden Knights Getting back in to the fantasy hockey realm and I have a ton of work to do on this roster! We have some great pieces for the future and our 2019 & 2020 draft picks will all play a big role in that future, but we need to ice a complete roster at some point I guess. 2020 Draft Recap Pick 2 - Tim Stutzle Pick 35 - Ridly Greig Pick 41 - Thomas Bourdeleau Pick 61 - Carter Savoie Pick 63 - Michael Benning Pick 65 - Daemon Hunt We lost out on our eventual 1st overall pick last year so adding Stutzle adds gives us that superstar prospect that was missing from our prospect pool. We traded some of our later picks to trade up for a crop of prospects in the first 3 rounds we feel have a lot of potential for us in the future. I won't embarrass myself with posting an NHL roster, or bore anyone with my prospect pool that I am very happy with and just state what the needs are... We require NHL players to fill a roster. I have cap space and am willing to take on some salary for a price. All players except Girard are available for trade - we are interested in prospect swaps We'll need to be active in free agency because I can't be icing 4 NHL players or whatever I actually have I am on Discord so feel free to reach out there too.
  7. New York Rangers: We're happy to welcome Frederik Andersen and Markus Nutivaara to the Rangers - thanks to @Arbourshate for getting a deal done quickly. We feel this move solidifies our goaltending position which was shaky this year and adds another solid defenseman to our d-core. We came up just short of the Stanley Cup finals - if the real-life Avalanche were to make it past the Stars who knows what could have happened. Going in to the off-season, we are about as cap-crunched as you can be with ~$11M in cap-space to sign 3 RFA NHL forwards, 1 RFA NHL defenseman and figure out a back-up goaltender going in to next season while also missing 3 NHL depth forwards. We are very happy to keep possibly the best one-two center combo in the league locked up with the Rangers for the next half decade at minimum. The needs to be addressed are simply giving raises where they are due while remaining competitive at the top of the league. Roster Update: Gabriel Landeskog - Mark Scheifele - Mikko Rantanen Anthony Beauviller - Ryan O'Reilly - Filip Forsberg Calle Jarnkrok - Scott Laughton - JT Compher Zach Sanford - xxxxx - Michael Raffl xxxxx, xxxxx Samuel Girard - Charlie McAvoy Matt Grzelcyk - Matt Niskanen Markus Nutivaraa - Scott Mayfield Brayden McNabb Frederik Andersen Malcolm Subban Red denotes an RFA, underlined denotes players available for trade. We expect to see some of the following push for a full-time roster spot next year: Isac Lundestrom Jack Studnicka Alexander Volkov Ryan McLeod Urho Vaakanainen With some more salary increases on the horizon along with addressing our current situation we will need to make some changes. As noted above we have Forsberg, McAvoy, Jarnkrok, and Niskanen on the block along with next years' picks should the right deal come along. We are looking for a less expensive replacement for these player(s) and we're willing to add to a deal to get it done depending on the player. Reach out on CDC or Discord if you're interested.
  8. Trade sent in and agreed to before midnight. To be posted once Nail gets to it. Pending trade post - NYR use our compliance buyout on Jordan Staal. (Posting now because I want to go to bed)
  9. Haha. I have 1 pick in another league so I am making up for it here.

  13. Looking to add another pair of second round picks. Remaining picks in this draft available and willing to package with prospects. Also, I have sucked at replying to PMs as of late so apologies... will get back to peeps tonight.
  14. VGK select Thomas Bordeleau. @AJay
  15. VGK select Ridly Greig. @Patnat96
  16. Vegas Golden Knights are proud to select Tim Stutzle from somewhere in Germany. @canuckledraggin
  17. Contract offers are in for Vegas. We will release the following players: Chris Bigras Reid Boucher Joe Morrow Kevin Rooney Derrick Pouliot
  18. You'll be walking into the Stanley Cup final barring some kind of Nosek/McNabb/Dickinson offensive breakout
  19. New York Rangers - Updated Playoff Roster Gabriel Landeskog - Scott Laughton - Mikko Rantanen Anthony Beauvillier - Michael Raffl - JT Compher Jason Dickinson - Tomas Nosek - Jack Studnicka Zach Senyshyn - Alexander Volkov Sam Girard - Charlie McAvoy Brayden McNabb - Matt Niskanen Urho Vaakanainen - Scott Mayfield Best of luck @Dion Phaneuf
  20. I also have my compliance buyout which I do not plan on using unless I don't make a couple moves. If you have a bad contract, want a good player and are willing to dish back a solid young, cheap asset this could be a win/win.
