  1. Happy with our playoffs so far but I will be in trouble with a flat cap and pending FA's needing a raise. Likely will not do anything before the end of the play-offs but the following are available in Pittsburgh: Filip Forsberg Charlie McAvoy (RFA) Brayden McNabb Matt Niskanen Matt Murray (RFA) Jake Muzzin (UFA) Will be looking for younger NHLer's or players about to make the full time jump.
  2. 6. 2nd overall pick could also be had. Not something I am actively shopping however if anyone is interested I'd be looking for a variety of picks or prospects.
  7. Missing out on 1OA again! Took over Vegas without my first rounder in 2019 which was the first pick, then lose out to a play in placeholder in 2020.
  8. Playoff Roster - New York Rangers Gabriel Landeskog - Mark Scheifele - Mikko Rantanen Anthony Beauviller - Ryan O"Reilly - Filip Forsberg Calle Jarnkrok - Scott Laughton - JT Compher Jason Dickinson - Tomas Nosek - Michael Raffl Zach Sanford, Carsen Twarynski Samuel Girard - Charlie McAvoy Jake Muzzin - Matt Niskanen Matt Grzelcyk - Brayden McNabb Scott Mayfield Matt Murray James Reimer Black Aces: Forwards: Alexander Volkov, Zach Senyshyn, Michael Chaput, Jack Studnicka, Oskar Steen, Defensemen: Urho Vaakanainen, Calle Rosen Goaltenders: Malcolm Subban
  9. I KNEW icing Lucic, Perry AND Neal in my top six would be too much firepower for a bottom 3 pick.
  10. Nice to see hockey back soon. By my estimates @Monty will be bounced out at the end of July per tradition With this, to the surprise of no one, New York Rangers waive Brendan Leipsic with the intent of terminating his contract due to disparaging comments made on social media. https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/capitals-place-leipsic-waivers-purpose-terminating-contract/ @Nail if I cannot make this now, no worries.
  11. Perry, Lucic, Phaneuf, Neal... so many options for the compliance buy-out... and I may need another anchor of a contract to stay above the floor
  12. I intend to keep him around to mentor the young guys on how to be a good teammate
  13. I think I brought it up in Puck but I will also throw it out as an alternative to compliance buyouts. Instead of a freebie, give the GM's one paid buyout in the form of draft picks based on term and salary. Sacrifice your picks this year (and next) if there is overlap and they are skipped at the draft. I haven't thought about it too hard (shocker) but something that has a charge based on number of years remaining and another based on AAV. 1 or 2 years remaining - 4th round pick and: If AAV >$7M = 1st round pick If AAV >$5M & <=$7M = 2nd round pick If AAV >$3M & <=$5M = 3rd round pick If AAV <=$3M = 4th round pick If 3 to 5 years remaining - 2nd round pick and: If AAV >$7M = 1st round pick If AAV >$5M & <=$7M = 2nd round pick If AAV >$3M & <=$5M = 3rd round pick If AAV <=$3M = 4th round pick If more than 5 years remaining - 1st round pick and: If AAV >$7M = 1st round pick If AAV >$5M & <=$7M = 2nd round pick If AAV >$3M & <=$5M = 3rd round pick If AAV <=$3M = 4th round pick Not saying these would be the parameters but it eliminates a get out of jail free card. On my phone so formatting might suck.
  14. New York Rangers place waiver claims on Matt Irwin and Nick Shore - in that order should anyone else be so desperate for players. @D-Money
  15. I should be able to do this now and stay above the cap floor. New York Rangers place Brent Seabrook and Filip Zadina on the injured reserve. https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/injuries @Primal Optimist
  16. Its not Monty team unless the team moves cities, the roster is turned over twice a year and all prospects are threatened to be traded.
  17. Between 3 CDC fantasy leagues I made a total of ZERO moves. Apologies to all GM's I annoyed with trade talks. I was very indecisive and I am not sure how I feel about it.
  18. 20 minutes to the deadline! Neal, Lucic, Janmark and Stepan all available with retention. Youngsters Blais and Chychrun still available too.
  19. @thejazz97 believe I have rights to NJD's 2nd rounder in 2020 based on this condition. I traded Tolvanen so I am not sure if it is still valid.
  20. Good on you for the deal but however it gets broken down, PIT gets fleeced.
