Cross checks never put Hank out before but the way he is being used it was bound to happen sooner then later. Henrik and Daniel never looked this bad under AV. Burrows never went without a goal for half a season under AV. Hansen, Edler and kesler have never had such terrible plus minus ratings. Your saying the situations the sedins are being played in is not having any effect on them well you clearly haven't watched the games. AV had a better balance between the two. I can't recall this many odd man rushes and two on one's with AV. It seems like every mistake ends up in the back of our net with torts while with AV you were never in that situation in the first place.

with those same players he had a much different record the next season in which we missed the playoffs. It was his systems that gave us the good record. Also he was nominated for a jack adams that year because the success of his defensive system and making lu look like a all star.

At this rate we won't make the playoffs and if we do we won't be healthy cause torts doesn't realize that using the guys relentlessly in tough situations is resulting in injuries. Hank's iron man streak never ended under AV. After henrik came back after the Christmas break he came back and had 7 points in 7 games cause he finally had some rest from torts heavy minutes then he got injured and hasn't been the same.

OP is dead on our key players are struggling under torts especially the sedins who are being played so hard even with hanks injury still had too many minutes today. Tort's is relentless on how he uses them I am surprised that he hasn't learned yet. How he used Richards and Nash in new york was one of the reasons he was let go. I don't care how much of an improvement/fresh air this guy has been but fact is we averaged 2.5 goals per game in his absence while in tort's last 6 games we have been shutout three times and averaged 0.6 goals per game in that same span. That says something.

the breakaway goal was super weak no effort from lu on that. He has made some key saves but that was a really key goal and he made no effort on it. This game is over.

You have said quite a few crazy things but I agree here. Kesler is nothing without the sedins even on the winnipeg goal daniel kept the puck when there was two guys on him and somehow made a amazing pass that led to the goal. When the sedins are on fire we are more of a contender then when kes is. A lot of fans from other teams say kesler is superoverated.

It's kind of a empty happiness but it's better than watching you team lose. This will be a good game. For some reason whenever we play them in the joe always turns out to be a good game. I say both teams go tied 6-6 going into OT after a back and forth game cause detroit just allowed 6 goals against the caps and we have been quite lose defensibly lately. Rest is all luck. Is henrik returning?
