Richie and Kas have played a while with each other so might as well keep them together. Shred's, Booth and Hansen are perfect line for each other.
So I think this lineup would be better because mostly everyone is playing their normal position
Daniel Henrik Burrows
Higgins Kesler Santorelli
Booth Schroeder Hansen
Weise Richardson Kassian
I wanted him on the PP since the start. Thanks for listening to me Torts.
Anyways it was an end of the game goal so yeah...... might have saved a shutout spoiler.
We will see... go into the previous GDT's and look at my predictions they have all been dead on. Look at the canucks record against O4 teams (0-3) will only be perfect if it's 0-4.
5-2 Boston (canucks record vs O4 teams is pretty bad 0-3 so far). Had a two one loss against both Chicago and Detroit, will have a 5-2 loss against both Rangers and Boston.
Going in with 2-0 lead into third. Boston scores 5 goals in the third on Lu; gets pulled like keith's hair.
Marchand and daniel fight; marchand looks like he will win then suddenly daniel delivers a big blow.
Lack and Rask fight in a sweden vs finland showdown.
You said we were playing the Oilers a day before we play them and said that the twins and kass would play with each other when torts said they wouldn't.
I didn't need any effort
Your the one who needs to put in the effort of getting the simple things right.
The whole line of Higgins, Kesler, Booth was on fire for much of the year. And Hodgson had 10 goals when we were down by one or the game was tied. Not surprising that we won the presidents trophy in tough conference that year and NJ was 6th in a easier conference.
Some things we didn't have going though was that Booth's injury messed the flow of the american express line, Daniel got a concussion and Hodgson was traded. This basically ruined all of our 3 lines of scoring by the time we made the playoffs.
Although Henrik and Burrows had some legitimate chances to put the puck in the net that series.
They don't have Thomas, Ryder, Peverly, Seguin, Wheeler, Horton, Reechi. Thornton, Paille, Rask might not even play. And they played 5 AHL call ups today. Know what your saying.
He's from BC right? What if it's not rigged and he's just trying to so he's not biased against the canucks and bc? And Auger and Burrows both french Canadians could be the same. This all makes sense now guys.
I don't know. That the goal doesn't happen if the puck doesn't hit the refs skate and Iginla get's knocked down and does a amazing pass.
Also Lu had and still gives up lots of goals in the last minute; it just something he would do and price wouldn't.
I know they are in the west but I am just saying both LA and NJ were pretty lucky. Nothing else to it you need a bit of luck to win in the match ups.
When we made the finals Detroit was taken out by SJ, Ducks by Nashville and Kings also by the sharks. Had we played one of those teams in a series I doubt we get close to sweeping them in a series like we did with SJ.
You also forgot to mention how lucky they were; you need luck to win the toughest trophy in all of sports. In their year Chicago, Boston, Detroit, Pittsburgh, San Jose, Vancouver were all knocked out in the first round. These teams were considered strong cup contenders and when they were out of the playoffs there wasn't really any good teams left in the east with the exception of New York. From there their destiny was set to make the finals.
One day the canucks will have that kind of luck
