  1. also seeing it's only playing out east...
  2. -1 for HoHo tonight, hope he gets in the christmas spirit and starts dishing out some gifts to his team.
  3. He's 19. Generally men are naturally at their best physical performance level around 22-23, but with training NHL guys prolong that to around 29. Recovery time goes up a bit, but still have similar top ends. Also he should be working on what the Canucks are asking him to, not what other scouts, or coaches say he's bad at. So maybe he's right on track with where our organization has placed him, and skating is something that they are okay with/know it will improve with time... If he was our second or third-line centre this year then we have a beef, fact is he's still 19 and in Junior. Give him some time to DE-VEL-OP.
  4. So who moves up with the twins? and Does Dalpe get third or even second line minuets to start the game?
  5. Gaunce will be fine. He will probably be better not making this team. Just like Corrado last year.
  6. I think the Hurl icanes think they are Boston... Trying to crash the crease and should get punched in the face.
  7. The thing with Bo is He may not put up the numbers other top prospects do, but when he plays those guys he's gonna shut them down, and probably get a point along the way. I can't name many players that on a regular basis shut down the other teams best line and scores 1.5 ppg. I really think the Bergeron comparison will be accurate.
  8. +2 already as well. He's a great junior player, hope it translates to the NHL on a nightly basis.
  9. Anyone know where he played tonight? With McD or his own line? He was a +2 as well.
  10. I don't know if many coaches call out Junior players cause I haven't heard it before, but I'm guessing if Sutter is calling out Gaunce he thinks that there's more for Gaunce to contribute. I tend to think that Gaunce is one of the better players in the OHL and he still has a ton of room to improve. He has so much potential with his size, strength, hockey IQ, shot, passing ability, etc, but he seems to still have so much room to develop. Stoked for him to get a chance at the mem cup this year with Erie.
  11. Agreed We need an up and coming 21-24 year old who is going to contribute and get better over the course of the year. Really hard to get them, but if we are going to win a cup with this group we need at least 1.
  12. That was the toughest regular season loss In a ridiculously long time. Can't even imagine how the players feel. Good news is, if they can get those 2 mistakes out of their game they can play with and beat anyone, and if the pp gets going at all we could win some of these games! I think this is either a deep run year or a miss the playoffs year lol.
  13. I didn't know he was a forward converted to D, but it certainly shows with his puck skills. Guys got hands. Can't wait to see him in Utica in a couple years, or at least at main camp to see where he's at.
  14. Carter's in for LA, Booths in for Canucks, who will win the battle healthy scratch or injured reserve? In all honesty I think we win 3-2. Burrows, Hansen, Garrison gets off the schneid.
  15. If I was Washington I would take a chance on Booth. He has the ability to drive play, and not be a liability defensively for the most part, just can't finish, or play in torts system. Booth + a pick/prospect would probably get it done. Maybe even just Booth.
  16. Bo Knows team Canada is right around the corner.
  17. Derp...

    Anton Rodin | RW/LW

Hope we do. We need a top 6 right winger! Maybe in a couple years he can contribute. SHL isn't the best assessment for talent in pro prospects, but it's a long way from where he was last year.
  18. Played for KGN yesterday. Looking forward to see how he progress with that group.
  19. Beauty keep it rolling Ben!
