Not in a redraft with hindsight.  But simply add them into the mix.  Hischier is a direct comparable to Ehlers.  Ehlers went 9th.  Hischier probably goes 8-11th.

If we are redoing that draft with Hindsight.

    Ekblad

    Pastrnak

    Draisaitl

    Nylander

    Arvidsson

    Ehlers

    Reinhart

    Larkin

    Demko

Jake probably doesn't even make first round.

    Demko over shestyorkin?

I'm very conflicted over this series.  I want OJ to have a great playoff and long run to get as much experience as he can.  OTOH, I despise the Knights organization and would quite enjoy them being eliminated in the 1st round to one of their rivals.

Best case scenario as far as I can tell, Knights eliminated today and OJ signs a PTO with Utica - they make the post-season so OJ can get pro-experience in the playoffs.

Question is whether Green put juolevi in the lineup or not

I remember Jakes draft. I listened to it on the radio. Parked my car when they got to the 6th pick. I was praying we would draft Nick Ritchie to help our team with some size and toughness. Then I was upset we got Virtanen. I guess he is faster and a bigger hitter than Ritchie. Benning ruined his development by telling him he couldn't learn any more in WHL and letting him play in NHL.

If you were hoping for size and toughness why were you upset with the virtanen pick?

The 5th line in a nut shell:

    complains

gets upset when people call him out

    doesnt listen to logic

you give @/The 5th line a picture of tkachuk on a stuffy toy and i won't be surprised if he kisses it and puts it to bed every night.

Really small sample size, but he's averaging 3 shots per game so far. Over a full season, that would put him around 250, which is usually good enough to be top 30 in the league.

Obviously asking a lot for him to keep it up over a full season, but if he manages to put up anything close to those kinds of numbers consistently, it bodes well for him becoming a 20 to 30 goal per year player.

I guess I won't have to change my name to 'ireallylovemen10' then haha

Looking at New Jersey's schedule they only have 1 game against a tough playoff team (Pittsburgh), I think the Canucks will finish 28'th which will mean:

over 50% chance at top 5

just under 30% chance at top 3

    & just over 30% chance at #6

    my top 5:

    hischer

    Patrick

    Vilardi

    mittlestadt

    Liljegren

    top 2 = ecstatic  3-5= satasfied  6+ = disappointed

No need to be disappointed if you get Necas or Makar

If the Canucks defence can manage 5-10 goals each that's 30-60 goals.

Impossible, unless we get Brent Burns... even San Joses dman have only 47 goals. 20-25 from the defence seems more likely.
