     most nhlers are cocky i met pavel and his brother in kelowna they were asshole i met craig anderson and ronning also assholes  but jovo was  the nicest guy    jakes always beennoce in interviews amd always smiling amd looks like a good teammate but ya could ve different behind the scenes

    i feel like alot if people  jump on anything jake does and judge him he seems like a good kid  hell even sedins dumped on him for hitting a guy and getting suspended   like threw him under the bus  we need jake hitting people on this team we are soft as 3ply.   i m waiting to see what comes out in next few weeks but to me it seems like a money grab by this girl  hopefully im right  but in all reality no one else has come forth with other allegations so its a isolated incident.   Perhaps for jake we ship him to sanjose or florida  give him a fresh start

    and fyi, getting credited with the gwg when you score the 2nd goal in a 5-1 win isn't exactly all that impactful, either. 

     

    edit: also worth mentioning, other than that weird outlier season, jake has only 4 other gwg in his career and no more than 1 in any other season, and has never scored a gtg. 

     you have the worst takes bud  i get u dont like jake but 6 game winners are clutch  otherwise u come off looking stupid

    On another matter, as I'm reading the article, I couldn't help but think this is sport imitating life and vice-versa, in that my thought was "Does Jake Virtanen have the same real-life IQ as he does with his hockey IQ?".  Jake's side of the story is essentially "yah, we had sex.  But she wanted to" when sworn statements from the plaintiff is clearly the opposite.  Regardless, we've all seen how stupid Jake is as a hockey player (this is a fact).  Wouldn't surprise me if he was as equally stupid in all other aspects of his life (this one is pure conjecture).  

     

    Regardless of how the case turns out, I hope the Canucks cut him loose.  Even though this matter is something more important and much larger than hockey, Virtanen is not good at hockey. 

     

    he scored 18 the yr before with 18 apples im pretty sure hes better at hockey that most people

     ya we have huge holes on d and at center if we need a goalie we can draft one in 2 yrs    demko and dipietro have the nets the next ten yrs not worried bout that you pick a dman at draft and sign a decent third line center
