Agree, the pick is protected so it was impossible for it to turn into Bedard. But team tank for Bedard could turn into a #1 pick for Van. Unless we traded away our 2023 frst round pick and im unaware of it.

Anyone else surprised now that Bo signed his big contract his production has almost halved? That big payday can sure be a motivator but not sustainable at any rate for a player punching above his weight (pun not intended… especially for Horvat ) Also goes to show that maybe there was a little bit of a classic Anson Carter situation going on with the chronically underachieving talent here in Van. Couldn’t be happier now with what we got in return. Hopefully scouting doesn’t fck up the pick.

Completely not the same at all. Linden was traded because of the cancerous coach in Mike Keenan. Horvat could’ve stayed a Canuck for life, if he had taken the offer that was presented to him. He got greedy and you will notice he will quickly fade In skill and relativity in the NHL.

Jasons complacent and the team will continue to suck balls as there are too many complacent fans who just ok with status quo. The players will get payed. But the owner doesn't if there are no butts in the seats. Vancouver fans are known as being some of the worst in the league and I 100% agree. I still Like the team (barely albeit) but no offence but pro sports teams especially home town ones who don’t show an ability to draft keep and grow home grown talent aren’t really home town teams any more. Canucks have become nothing more than a terrible hockey team in my eyes and will get 0 more of my dollars from this point forward.

People leave van all the time. It’s usually because of stuck up snobby Vancouverites. Heck we got one right here. great place to visit. But damn never want to live there.
