25 lbs is bulking up?
It takes a lot for pro athletes to gain weight. Because they are burning a ton of calories, and what calories they intake extra just get purged. A player most likely lose weight during the season.
the off season is where players can put on weight but really the off season is not that long for building the body. Pettersson has put on quite a bit of muscle since he was drafted. But I doubt he will be able to be big.
Take Brandon Sutter for example, he is tall and skinny and I’m sure he has tried to put on weight but can’t. It’s his body make up. Same as Pettersson.
It’s just not going to happen the way we want it too, his frame is long and skinny and there is only so much muscle he can put on.
