  1. Does anyone else think that by the end of the year EP will take over as the team superstar ahead of Boeser?
  2. This has got to be the best class of rookies since the Nedved-Jagr year
  3. I think the Canucks should keep him in the big club. He's been better than many D that the Canucks currently have on thier roster.
  4. How is McDavid on that list at tis point in his career?
  5. How is Goldobin on tis board and not EP?
  6. Getting knocked over isn't too much of a concern. The Sedins were knocked around like bowling pins their first couple of years here. He'll fight through that, the last few games he looked more pissed of at himself on his mistakes than anyone else. So I'm sure he'll fix that. The difference with this kid though is that he's like a slippery fish with and without the pick. In the past couple of games, I've seen checkers lining him up to steal the puck or unleash a hit and Elias somehow gets away. The guy is cool as ice while doing it too, no nervousness, just keeps going like it's nothing. You can't teach that or coach that. Once the grind of the season is on, I am sure he's find other ways to slip away from opponents.
  7. Would it be fair if I start start comparing him against Nico Hischier? Like saying EP is going to be better than?
  8. I'm liking this Goldobin-Petterson connection
  9. Aww With Quinn on this team, I'm drinking the koolaid right now and begging to the hockey gods the somehow Jack Hughes falls to us.
  10. I didn't want to actually come out and say that word cause you know...training camp just started and that word brings tears to my eyes.
  11. Tryamkin at 6'7 lining up next to Hughes at 5'10 reminds me of that Danny Devito movie with Arnold. The older fans will know what I'm talking about.
  12. I don't care if Elias loses his draws this year as long as he gets better and better as he goes along. Sure he will lose a lot of faceoffs now but wait till he plays a few years, I'm sure with his compete level, he'll make himself good. Then when the team is actually competitive he'll be able to do well on the dot. As for now, let him lose the draw and make him learn puck retrieval while he's at it. It'll motivate him to get better at it.
  13. When I see this guy play it's like he uses his shortness to his advantage, he reaches for pucks more efficiently and quickly. His center of gravity is off the charts for a guy his size, he doesn't get knocked down too easily. He scores in a different way than the Pettersons and the Boesers. This kid is going be that late round steal the Canucks haven't had since Hansen.
  14. On the set of the Big Bang Theory. Always loved the show so it would be really cool to see it live. What do you consider more important, using most of your time making money or using most of your time building a strong family?
  15. People who can have entire conversations with just stickers in a chat program.
  16. What if they ended up in one team then one guy scores and the other two assists.
  17. So if the Canucks draft Jack Hughes and Pettersson turns out to be the center everyone hopes he can become, does that mean Horvat is going to eventually be the third line center?
  18. I'm predicting this kid will have an "A" on his Canucks jersey when we win the Stanley Cup.
  19. I would give Lind a pass. He had only a handful of games on a team with a full roster coming off a season with another team. Not many players do well under those circumstances.
  20. So is Woo a worse or better prospect than Brisebois?
  21. I am begging for Tryamkin to come back. Then have Tryamkin, Woo and Guddy on each defensive pairing hammering the opposition one line after the other.
  22. What is Tryamkin comes back. Tryamkin, Woo, and Gadj would do it.
