[PGT] Vancouver Canucks at Seattle Kraken | Jan. 01, 2022
lmm replied to -Vintage Canuck-'s topic in Canucks Talk
Can that tag be changed to NOT Gameday? I just watched yesterdays Donnie and Dhali show and heard guest Bill Daly. Daly said he thought the game would go ahead because Ottawa needed to play games or get too far behind the rest of the league. today the game gets postponed. It is posted on NHL,com and the headline is NHL postpones game. the Canucks are part of the NHL. So my question is, is this the Canucks decision, the Senators, or that of the league? A look at the standings and GP the Lightning and Knights have 36-37 GP with 2 PPD at the other end the Isle and Sens have played 28 and 29 games the Sens have had 10 PPD The Canucks are in the middle in a group of 11 teams that have played 34 games. they have had 6 games PPD Daly said that at this point they have rescheduled all of the PPD games but that the are running out of RUNWAY to reschedule games that was before VAN-OTT gets postponed today At what point do Ottawa and the Isles turn into Vancouver and Calgary of last season , playing games after the playoffs have started? that was a bad look, and one you would thinkj the NHL would not like to repeat thoughts? -
Maybe Travis Green should stop messing with the lines so much and give a chance for some chemistry to grow! We’ve seen this before where he’s grasping at straws trying to find the magical line! And Petey needs to start earning that wage... he wants to play on a winning team?! Maybe he should start playing like it!

hopefully next fall will be more normal and that hockey can return to some semblance of normality with the stands fill with fans this year the canucks got out of sync with covid-19 and fell back several games so come playoffs no chance so this coming season I am hoping the team can learn from the experience and step up to play better hockey

I am dumb founded that a group of NHL caliber players could have such poor passing skills during a game. Vagas can have a 70% passing success rate while the Canucks, as a team, sit at around 35% with successful passes. This percentage pretty much matches their coming off the boards with possession of the puck. these two factors will cost the Canucks their series with Vagas.

Just wondering if anyone has any idea which Canucks decided to stay in Vancouver during the pandemic?

Hey any canuck fan's in Columbus going to the game on March 1st? If so did any you want to meet up at the Rbar before the game? It would be nice to chat it up with a fellow canuck fan.

A group of us watch the games and we have just been dying lately whenever Canucks have power plays. The guys seem to be wasting the whole time passing, passing, and passing. When the team started up last year they would just shoot those nice hard shots. Now, not so much ! Let's get back to those shots on the net ! JUST SHOOT ! Also..................we really missed seeing Trevor Linden at the festivities
