TigerWilliams
If people want to prove how not a bandwagoner they are, just don't jump ship when your team starts to suck. And it will. The salary cap pretty much makes this a fact of life in the NFL. It might not be a prolonged slump, but every team is going to go up and down over a 10 year span. Raoul Duke
A true fan endures....my dad had us cheering for all Chicago teams, because that's were he spent mos of his childhood. The year I started following the NFL, te closest team to our home, the Vikings, were 12-2 and the Bears went 1-13...I asked him why we didn't heer for the Vikings instead and hejust said "I'm from Chicago, therefore you are Chicago fans" Since then, the Bears managed to win a Super Bowl while the Vikings never did. Although if we don't get a QB and some fresh bodies on defence, there will be a lot more suffering over here

Gretzky's Mullet
Well said. Case in point: Bucs fans. The laughing stock of the NFL for years, but eventually it was gonna happen for them. Aside from the usual stinkers each year, every team has a chance to win the SB. That's the beauty of this league.
NucksPatsFan
^ yeah, agree you can also tell who bandwagoners are when they run to the store to buy a moss jersey just cause he did great this year. i was thinking about getting one on boxing day maybe if i could find it cheap/on sale but decided not to only jerseys i have bledsoe - way out grown bruschi - out grown, trying to get it framed still haven't found a place for a REASONABLE price (man some people want a leg and an arm) brady - don't think I'll grow that much in the next meanwhile, so it should last + nucks jerseys looking to get a blank Pats jersey and get it troy brown customized, im thinking jersey city should do that? or is there anywhere cheaper
Champions of Nothing
Time for me to chime in here I guess... To the Turds fan who is calling me classless. You should visit Qwest when the Turds come into town and sit in the Hawk Zone or anywhere even in the lower end and wear your team's colors and cheer for them and you will realize how classy some Hawks fans are. Also it is laughable at how you make false accusations towards me with nothing to back them up. For all you know I could be a Hawks season ticket holder or flex pack holder and I have every right to gloat since this team is a winner now and the 49ers and Rams are not. Innovative
I really hope the Pats are out come Saturday night so we can stop talking about them and if their bandwagon fans and then we can go back to talking football. Also no offense but I also didn't really see you post anything about football prior to this season Johnny and NuckPatsFan if you're from Jersey then wouldn't that make you a Giants fan? You also keep saying you moved here at 4, what 4 year old watches football? They would rather watch cartoons. I know I shouldn't be making these comments since this will make this bandwagon stuff drag on but it doesn't make much sense what some of these guys are saying. Also some of you really seem to dislike Undertaker. I wouldn't take him too seriously since he is the Sean Avery of the message board, he loves to stir the pot. All that being said; Go Jags? Innovative
Sean Avery? I don't think so. Even he can score once in a while.
Captain Bob
I am so excited for the GB/Sea game on Saturday. All the odds makers are favoring GB, it's going to be a wicked game.
VanJets
Taker makes the odd decent thread. I'll stick with the Avery assessment since he's under most of your guys' skin including you EC. Now let's get back to talking pigskin please. Does anyone think the Chargers will be able to give the Colts a game? Should I take Indy to cover 8? gmen81
Spreads are pretty big for Divisional playoff games. I mean I hope all the games are closer then the odd makers predict them to be. Like honestly should Green Bay really be 8.5 point favorites over the Seahawks. Im taking the Seahawks in that game for sure. Problem with me in these playoff pools im in I tend to choose the teams I like and not the teams who should win. The Indy/San Diego is going to be hard. San Diego is my 2nd favorite team in the NFL and Indy is my most hated team in the NFL. So obviously I want to pick the Chargers to win, but in reality I think the Colts will win. Cooke_Hart
I've pretty much resigned myself to the the fav's winning. Green Bay vs. Seattle = GB Dallas vs. NY Giants = Dallas San Diego vs. Indy = Indy (the most competitive game this round) Jacksonville vs. New England = NE Green Bay vs. Dallas = Dallas Indy vs. New England = NE Dallas vs. New England = NE In every game I don't see a particularly strong argument for the underdog. Of course, this is the NFL. For the record, I enjoy watching the Pats and I think it'll be fun to reminisce about the "perfect Pats." I know that if I have a kid that's anything like I was he'll be very curious about those sorts of achievments.

Hordichuk
Yeah, it's hard to see any upsets this week. Like most, I'd lean towards the Giants, but I think the Cowboys'll take it. I think the Packers'd beat them in the NFC game if it comes to that. Still think that Seattle has a decent shot at the Packers. They're a much better team than the ones that lost in Lambeau back when Hass said they were going to score. It's been a pretty good team this year, probably as good as the one that went to the Superbowl, so it should be fun. And I'm hoping for another AFC Classic. Indy/NE. This time it'll be outside.
