I am a Titan fan, jumped on the wagon when they made their SB run in 99. I will admit that I don't know nearly as much as some of you guys in this thread when you start talking 4-3, 3-4, Nickel defenses. I am a big fan of the NFL and watch as many games as possible, but I dont get to in depth with all that other stuff. I do enjoy reading the posts in here as it is very insightful. I like Griffin, but someone else would probably tell me that he is weak on coverage down low or something like that, but really I have no idea.

Anyways Jordan Babineaux is signing with the Titans, it was reported at first that he was indeed signing with the Titans and then John Clayton was saying that he is not coming to Tennessee and will be staying in Seattle, then Clayton said he was given wrong info and Babineaux is indeed signing in Tennessee.

@TrevorForPrimeMinister That sounds like a good trip. My draft is the sametime week before kick off, where do you go to get your fantasy draft rankings? I used a list off of foxsports last year they had some brutal projections last year.

Oh and do you have any sleepers I should look for?

Based on what you said i'm assuming you're around 25/26? I don't know if you're passed the Madden stage in your life or not but that's one of the better ways to learn a lot of the terms you said like "3-4 and Nickel Defense",I played a little bit of football myself so that's where I got the majority of it from but a lot you can pick-up from just playing madden. And just so you know, "3-4 defense" refers to using 3 down-lineman (usually de,nt,de) and then 4 linebackers. The "4-3 defense" conversely uses 4 down lineman and 3 linebackers. The 4-3 is generally more of a run-blocking defense because you get 1 more down lineman to block the holes. However, three of the better run defenses in the NFL (Baltimore,NYJ,and Pittsburgh) all use the 3-4 defense. The Nickel defense is a defensive alignment where the team has 5 defensive backs, and generally 2 lb's and 4 down-lineman. (sometimes 3 lb's and 3 down linemen).

If you ever have any questions,im sure me and anyone else in this thread would be more than happy to help explain anything that needed clarification.

DB's in football and defenseman in Hockey as I've grown older have become my favorite players. I think both positions require the most sport-iq to play and it really impresses me.

The Rams have done a very good, underrated job in free agency. I really like the additions.

Cadillac Williams should add some veteran relief for S-Jack.

Some solid O-Line acquisitions.

And Mike Sims-Walker could be the #1 target for Bradford the Rams haven't had since Torry Holt.

NFC West here we come. Oh wait, we have to watch out for Tavares Jackson!

I left out Blount, because well I figured most leagues either had him scooped up or heard. I still have him sitting on my roster. Bradford should have a good year, but the Rams have a really tough schedule next year.

I wonder who Cotchery is going to sign with, I have heard both the Titans and Steelers are trying to sign him and that today will be the day.

Cmon Tennessee, you need another experienced WR.

CJ still holding out on the Titans for a new deal.
