I'm not gonna come here and say Mark Sanchez is a great quarterback or an elite one. But saying he's terrible is just stupid.

Here are 5 characteristics what a terrible QB looks like:

1. You never engineer any game winning drives or comeback wins

2. You don't have the respect of your teammates

3. You don't get better as you play more games

4. You don't get to the playoffs or win games in the playoffs once you get there

5. You get injured all the time and can't consistently stay on the field

Let's apply Sanchez to numbers 1-5 above:

1. Sanchez has orchestrated 7 4th Quarter comebacks and 8 game winning drives in his short career. To put this in perspective, Aaron Rodgers has 3 4th quarter comebacks and 5 Game winning drives. (I'm not saying Sanchez is better than Rodgers so relax over there, nor is he in the same league...just giving perspective).

2. Any follower of the Jets can reasonably assume that each and every Jets player respects their captain, Mark Sanchez. Nothing has ever suggested otherwise.

3. Sanchez has improved in the following statistical categories since his rookie year: QB Rating, Yards per game, Net yards gained per pass attempt, TD%, Completion%, and I can find more if you'd like.

4. Sanchez has been the Quarterback on a team that has made it to the Playoffs 2 out of 2 years and has won 4 out of 6 playoff games. All on the road.

5. Sanchez has never missed a start in his career this far. #knocksonwood

For the sake of not wanting to drag this argument out for the rest of our lives, lets just agree to disagree...Let's assess Mark Sanchez at the end of his career.

I remember there's a Bills fan on here...can't remember his name though. I don't know if you've been following him but Aaron Maybin is playing pretty darn good so far. Not saying he's Lawerence Taylor...but for a guy who couldn't get on the field in Buffalo he has 3 sacks and 3 forced fumbles.

Anyone see the Denver Miami game today?

Here let me sum up how pathetic my team is.

1. It's 15-0 for Miami with 2:41 left in the game or something like that.

2. They give up a touchdown to a team they have shutout all game long.

3. They fumble the onside kick giving Denver possession.

4. They give up ANOTHER touchdown with 17 seconds left.

5. They pretty much let Tebow convert the 2pt conversion when everyone and their mother could of figured out that he was gonna run it in, so 15-15.

6. Then they catch a break and win the toss but do nothing on their first possession.

7. Miami gets the ball a second time and fumbles AGAIN! this time on their own 40

8. After running a few plays they watch Denver kick a game winning field goal.

That is absolutely the most sickening loss..............Sparano will be fired tomorrow.

I'm all for my team losing at this point and getting to draft Luck but I still don't want to see my team not win a game all season and after this performance I don't know if winning A game is even possible at this point.

U shoulda just agreed to disagree at first, I said Sanchez was below average and the jets were overrated, which r both true

Then u disagree with weak points like "his team is run oriented" "his coach is d minded" which basically say he is below average but there is a reason, then u say he isn't elite or great, so u r just kind of confused, take off the homer glasses dude, he's not your buddy, I get u r supporting your team, but be realistic, I don't dislike th jets or Sanchez for any no good reason, Sanchez isn't a good qb and the jets talk way too much for having done squat essentially, that's my opinion, if u disagree fine, u don't like me busting on your team, but we r here to talk football, don't take criticism of your guys so seriously

Well next sunday night will definetl be a way better game.

Dallas cowboys

@

Philadelphia eagles

Huge game dallas win they practically kill phillys chances of making the playoffs, eagles win and they are tied with the cowboys at 3-4.

If cowboys win we will likelly make the playoffs. We dont then..... I have no idea what will happen. We allow the eagles back in the playoff race.

I hate the eagles. Back in 2008 the last game of the season it was cowboys eagles. Win and in. Simple as that. I was in disney world at the time and instead of being out i stayed in the hotel room and watched the game. Only thing is they clobbered us 54-3 or something like that.

The next year we got revenge with a playoff win.

But it seams every year the cowboys and the eagles meet having a chance of knocking each other out or have huge impact in the standings.

Cant wait should be a freat game.

Almost GDT worthy on saturday!

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo(notes) has had some great games in the National Football League (NFL). But his bad games have been too frequent and incredibly painful for Cowboys fans. Here are the five worst performances by Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

Tony Romo collapsed in the shower after one of his heartbreaking games.

5. Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys, December 16, 2007

With girlfriend Jessica Simpson watching in a pink No. 9 jersey, Romo played one of his worst games in the NFL. Romo threw three interceptions and completed just 13 passes. He earned a career-low 22.2 quarterback rating. Romo failed to lead the offense into the end zone. The Cowboys lost the game 10-6.

4. Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles, December 28, 2008

The Cowboys visited the Eagles on the last day of the 2008 NFL season knowing that a win would launch them into the playoffs. Unfortunately, that did not happen for the Cowboys. The Eagles thrashed the Cowboys 44-6 and earned the playoff spot instead. It was a terrible performance by Romo. He threw one interception, fumbled twice and never found the end zone. To make things worse, Romo collapsed in the shower after the game.

3. New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys, September 20, 2009

The stage was set for the Cowboys. It was the home opener of their $1.15 billion stadium. It was the largest crowd to ever watch a regular-season game. It was the Giants, their NFC East rivals. On one of the biggest stages of his career, Romo disappointed again. Romo did rush and pass for touchdowns. But his three interceptions resulted in three touchdowns by the Giants. Romo posted a regrettable 29.6 passer rating. The Giants won the game 33-31 on a last-second field goal.

2. Dallas Cowboys at New York Jets, September 11, 2011

The Cowboys started the 2011 NFL season with yet another Romo heartbreak. Romo actually played well in this game but his mistakes in the fourth quarter fueled the comeback by the Jets. With a chance to increase the lead, Romo fumbled the ball near the goal-line while scrambling. Late in the fourth quarter, Romo threw a bad interception that resulted in the game-winning field goal by the Jets. The Cowboys squandered a 14-point fourth quarter lead, thanks mostly to Romo.

1. Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys, October 02, 2011

Three weeks after the collapse against the Jets, Romo eclipsed his shameful achievement. Romo played very well into the third quarter, leading the Cowboys to a 24-point lead. Then it turned ugly for him. Romo threw two interceptions that were both returned for touchdowns. His third interception paved the way for the winning touchdown by the Lions. Romo inexplicably handed the game to the Lions after building a seemingly insurmountable 24-point lead.

Romo has had other bad games. These are five of his worst performances in the NFL.

Edwin Torres has been a fan of the Dallas Cowboys since the days of Tony Dorsett and Roger Staubach. He enjoyed watching the Dallas teams of the 90s dominate opponents on both sides of the ball. Living in New Jersey, he is sandwiched between Giants and Eagles fans. But that has never deterred him from being a fan of America's team.

No worry's, I didn't take it in a negative manner at all buddy.

It's just how it is with sports sometimes. Sometimes players work out, sometimes they don't.

Never really knew why he didn't work in Buffalo, pretty good things were expected from him and then he just didn't turn up at all in his rookie year. I wasn't at all surprised that he got cut.

Although, with how lame our pass rush has been so far this season, I think it's fair to say that we'd like to have him back with the form he's had this year xD

And Ponder had a pretty good game actually. Some very nice touch down passes (his opening pass was a deep throw, followed by a touchdown pass from the 1 yard line. Great play) but he also horribly under threw some balls and Woodson picked him off twice and probably should have had at least another.

He only completed 13/32 passes though, but still threw for over 200 yards so, yeah. He played a lot of fairly deep balls.
