Champions of Nothing
If Brees was exposed by the 49ers game then Rodgers was exposed by this Giants game. Or we could all agree that one game doesn't define a player's career....

g_bassi13
Anyone here talking about a potential Harbaugh v. Harbaugh matchup, because that could be interesting. Though I guess a Giants Patriots rematch would be more fun to think about. I am pretty disappointed that most everyone in this thread (including myself) was right about their predictions of the Packers losing. Though I guess now I'm going to throw my support behind the Giants, because I dislike/hate the other remaining teams a whole lot more. And at least this gives me a reason to dust off my old Manning superbowl jersey I bought 4 years ago.
S.Mouse!
Both games next week are going to be classics. Especially The Niners/Giants. This whole playoffs has been unreal!!

g_bassi13
The concept of Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh is a cool one but honestly I don't think that Super Bowl match up would be as exciting as the Giants vs Patriots. For one Boston vs New York is already a pretty huge rivalry. They have the recent history with the Giants beating them in the Super Bowl ending the perfect season. They had that great game earlier this season. Then of course Eli Manning tooting his own horn. It would probably a much more exciting game. Compared to the Ravens vs 49ers where both teams are defense first. Not only defense first teams but both teams that follow the same lead. Both are offenses that rely on the run game instead of strong QB play. The Niners are the #1 rush defense in the NFL, the Ravens are the #2 rush defense in the NFL. Both offensive passing games in the bottom half. In other words this is likely going to be a low scoring defensive battle. While they can be entertaining they are typically pretty boring more of the game. Last time they played their was only 1TD scored in the game. SF had only 170 total yards and the Ravens had only 253 total yards. At least the Giants and Pats tend to have some exciting offensive plays. Though I would hate to see ether city win another Championship. Maybe it isn't so bad in Vancouver since it's so far away but those fans will not let anyone hear the end of it. Baercheese
Personally I'm all for Giants vs Patriots, if only to see if the Giants could pull another win out of their asses like they did last time. I know the teams look different, and the Patriots wouldn't be nearly as heavy favourites, but the story would be still there. And I know how you feel about New York and Boston fans. As a Blue Jays fan, you get to experience it first hand, lol. Boston sports fans in general being the worst. If they acquired another championship, that would fuel their egos to the point the town would implode in on itself.
